Hey guys, in the law field is graduating earlier a better option? As in one college claims that I could graduate with a degree by the age of 22. But my current academic plan would see me graduate by 25. Any differences? Would it matter?

People who have done law twinning programmes, how do you find it? How would you compare it with the UOL LLB that your peers are taking?

QUOTE(CaptAwsm @ Jan 18 2015, 04:20 PM) I think it's mainly Malaysia... and maybe with the possibility in practicing in Sg and the UK as well...? I don't know lol I'm kinda noob about this whole LLB thing. Just thought of trying to do a survey for her since you guys are sort of experts in it. She said that she contacted ATC(?) and was told that if she entered the UoL programme via graduate entry, she wouldn't be able to practice..? Graduate entry they sit for less than 12 subjects. Min requirement to practice is 12 subjects . Nothing to do w ageIs there like an age limit or something..? |

Im concerned about whether i need to equip myself with the Malay language if i intend to practice as a lawyer. I currently only speak english. Conversing in malay had always been difficult for me. Do the malaysian courts require me to conduct procedings in malay?

QUOTE(qazhang @ May 3 2015, 12:45 AM) Yes, in fact it is part of the requirements prior admittance to the bar. Hi, so hope this info helps.Could you please provide your curriculum vitae. May be able to assist you from there. I'm currently doing my A2. Scored a B+ for the BM paper, which I guess satisfies the clp requirements. Traditionally I've been very inclined to the English language as compared to BM. I guess the SPm results don't hold water as it doesn't show the real picture, ie I can converse even a proper sentence in BM without it sounding 'broken'. |

Hey guys. I need some advice. How is ATC doing rn? Heard that some of their lecturers defected to BAC. Is it still a good place to study in? What about bac? How are the lecturers and life there?

Has anyone here gotten their personal documents certified as true copies of the original for admission to the inns of court?
Who did you go to for the certification. I digged up on the internet and found out that apparently there was a circular saying that commissioner of oaths arent allowed to do so anymore. Where else can i go? Would prefer somewhere That can do it for free/cheap. |
