Hi, could anyone suggest a good university for LLM or any specified LLM, particularly in UK and any advice from former LLM candidate? i'm kind of lost here. Your feedback is appreciated

probably in the UK because not every "prestige" university offer distance learning, but i fear this would not be possible anymore since i might get a 2:2 (which completely ruled me out of the LLM requirement) probably going back CLP and become another average Ali LOL......

Excuse me, but I've just completed my A-levels (half a year for A2 is beyond overkill), and I'm looking around for a law university.

I've narrowed down the choices to two: BAC and Taylor's.
For all I have researched, with twinning programs in UKT, I'll be able to achieve my goal of getting into the BPTC.

However, choosing between the two is a problem. Note that my parents told me to disregard the price, since the UKT programs for the two only has a 5k per year difference between the two.

Taylor's has the university environment my parents want me to be in (I'm spent all my education years in a room as much as possible), and has the better lecturer-student ratio.

BAC doesn't have these, looking at the sheer number of students and the fact that the environment is basically 'loud streets'. Also the fact that they are less reluctant to drop students. However, the fact that it's the (said to be) best law school in Malaysia is a factor I always come back to.

So hard to find lunch on weekends. Which is the bane of my existence.

Hi there, why do you think so? Are you planning to work at UK or other countries? What's your current status then? From what i've heard, mostly BPTC holder end up working at Malaysia but it sure open up opportunities of career options.

take my advice if your family poor go for UOL either in atc or bac. If your family can afford you study go for UKT 2+1,  if you rich den u can go 1+2. Listen me reason out. You pick to enter LLB, face it you only got one reason, you mau jadi lawyer. Ok, you can become a lawyer but let me warn you that the journey is not easy especially CLP and BAR. If you got mindset to study  clp already or simply no money to study bar (120k ringgit) then I suggest you go UOL because they prepare you for the hardship you face in clp. You can pick ukt like me and go clp but end result sama also, you come back Malaysia, just that you will face cultural shock. UKT yr 1 yr 2 i never study rely on lecturer tip get 2:2. Year 3 i put some effort get 2:1. But now i doing CLP 24/7 library also want cry, 10 subjects,  9 month, 38% passing rate, if you fail miss you waste money but most important 9 months of your life(im a 22 yr old guy baylieve me 9 months worth alot when u are at my age).  But then you can also go BAR, alot ppl say BAR easier than clp, but you can tell them to najib themselves because BAR even though has higher  passing rate around 60% but its meticulous and the fee you pay here is 120k. Which bring me back to my first point,  go uol,  study hard 3 yrs,  taylor don't consider becuz those are rich asses that will most likely fail their clp,  den continue your clp.  This is the cheapest route. Or you think you can live up a barrister standard go ukt, 1+2 and take BAR, this is the most expensive route but relatively easier than the cheap route ( still tough! just easier than clp).  Or you know pergi la MMU or UUM  4 years jadi lawyer no need qualifying exam tapi got risk la their University probed by council every year,  mana tau you study until 2nd year your uni kena struck off from LPA den you become rohingya :/.  Alright just my 2cents from a clp student.  Disregard my advice if you no plan becoming lawyer, if you want to take llb to go open chicken rice shop or jual Samsung phone, which some of my friends did, den dont torture yourself.  Go lakeside taylor study business kao lui, eat high klass food, pagi see sunrise, malam still can zouk,  better right?
