For those who clicked this must have already know about it. So I won't waste time to talk about it. But you can click here If you don't know about it.

I have eczema for 2 years and half already and tried many methods, clinically and home remedies. I just want to share the routine to lessen your suffering..lol because what works for me might work for you.

I've used and consume many kind of medicine that I was prescribed with by doctors of gov clinic to swasta one, lotions and tablets. It worked but at some point of time it just don't. I consume Hydroxyzine hydrochloride tablets, Betamesone cream and tried a few others that I can't remember their name . A friend of mine, a nurse told me about effect of medicine (steroids) on kidney and all. I scared. So I tried home remedies.

There are a few things that I find works for me

1. Extra Virgin Olive oil
Consume one tablespoon in the morning everyday and rub it on affected areasThe taste is quite weird. I hate the taste and smell but at least it works. My nails become shiny after a few application and it's good for your hair too.

You can get it in hypermarket (Giant, Tesco or Mydin at cooking oil section) for RM6.90 to RM30.00 depends on the brands.

2. Virgin coconut oil
Recommended by my friend, I tried VCOA treenea capsules. Two capsules per day one in the morning and another one - I poke it and rub the oil on the affected areas at night. Like EVOO I think the taste isn't good too but at least I can't really taste it because it is enclosed in tablets. Price range for RM39 - RM40 for a bottle of 60 capsules. It also lessen keratosis pilaris and acne on my cheek, forehead and my back.

Now, there are so many VCO brands. The one I use is Treenea, you can get it from me (for RM45 including postage) or google it online.
Another brand that I think is good is catalyst (use by a friend). You can search it online or go to stores that sell health and beauty products

3. Physiogel Hypoallergenic lotion/cream
I apply it on my skin when I want to go out before I wear stockings
This is the best lotion and cream that I've used, prescribed by a doctor - very good to moisturize my dry cracked skin. If you have dry skin you can also try this. There are lotion and cream. Cream is more concentrated and lotion, a bit cair but both are good.

You can find it at Guardian or Watson. I usually buy it at Guardian though. RM48 to RM60 per bottle.

Now, I stick to VCOA and Physiogel Hypoallergenic lotion/cream
My fingerprint is appearing..lol I always get scolded if ppl need my fingerprint. My suggestion to other people who has eczema like me.
1. It is good once in a while to wash or soak your affected areas, (mine are feet, hands and face) with warm water.
2. Sleep early, it helps to reduce acne and the tiny small little bump on your face (keratosis pilaris). Apply VCO/VCOA on the tiny bump after you wash your face at night.
3. Don't scratch even if it is itchy, that just make it worst. Rub or clean it with warm water instead.

You can try Opticberry. My fren which suffered for it since he was a kid had great improvements after 1 month. Western medicine didnt help as he went to multiple skin specialist, chinese herbs did help abit but it was just way to costly to maintain.

Thank you, gyugu. I get eczema on the inside of my forearms from time to time and nothing seems to help. I will try the products you suggested when I have an outbreak next and let you know whether it helped me smile.gif

I don't have eczema but I can understand how painful it can be.
My friend (F) and her cousin also suffer from eczema. Quite serious also, it used to be only on her hands then somehow her face also have. it's all over her face not even a spot of clear healthy skin. Her cousin, on her back way to her armpits. Can imagine how bad it can be if the weather is unforgiving. They suffered since they were kids and they tried many many I mean lots of products and took steroids but now stop taking it oredi. currently, she's trying different products recommended by the pharmacist. now waiting to see result after 3 months which will be in August. "Fingers crossed" She said to me.

The products (not sure where to buy them but I think pharmacy should have)
1)AI Lotion Physiogel
2)Pristin Omega 3
3) Udo's Oil 3 6 9 Blend.

Recently a senior of mine back in uni (P), who also suffers from eczema recommended the Hai-O's mlm product, the marine essence body wash. She says it's quite effective because her skin is a lot better. And it's not that expensive around RM30+.

Maybe can give it a try too. And (F) did mentioned a traditional medicine I think called, Mahogany Penunjuk Langit? She said old folks call it A cure for 1001 diseases. It comes in capsule form and liquid (oil). I think can buy online but not sure which website is legit.

Hi all,

I have friends having the same problem with eczema too. but after using this brand called skincerity: http://firstimpressionista.wix.com/face#&#...timonials/c1mhs

Just after 2 weeks, there's really improvement, He himself also mentioned that many creams and medication that he has used does not help.

Do check out the website and feel free to ask me if you have any questions.

I try avoiding soaps and detergents. But sometimes, it just depends on the days. I've tried VCO, but I didnt see any changes.
But applying virgin coconut oil on my skin at night, keeps it moisturized and when I wake up, the skin felt less dry and itchy. yawn.gif
