While nothing has been confirmed as the line is in planning stage...

SPAD map indicates the line may follow highway for most part.
*
If follow highway, then might as well 'abolish' KTM.

Here is a repost of the line I made that may be considered properly. More to come.

And instead of Port Klang as final destination, they should consider Bukit Tinggi as the final stop too. Or Pandamaran.

KTM serves more established parts of Klang/Shah Alam.

LRT 3 going to serve new areas, such as recently developed Bukit Jelutong all those. From SPAD map, it seems they are thinking of ELITE (NKVE) alignment.

Nice attempt on the map!  wink.gif

Currently drawing second one. Coming up soon...

My idea of LRT in Klang is to build at places without public transport. As for the areas that already have KTM, they can consider to build few LRT stops close to KTM stops. So that we don't have all the trains crammed into one spot biggrin.gif

Pink : TTDI Suria + Alam Impian. Houses here are already close to sold out.

Hope it pass thru Setia Alam and integrate with Klang Sentral.

But the bad point.......Property price in Setia Alam & Setia Eco Park naik lagi

Actually to integrate Klang-Kemuning-Setia Alam quite tedious. Unless we set Setia Alam as last stop. Setia Alam - Klang - Kemuning - Puchong.

Interesting..

But then if Kota Kemuning station can be put near to the Business centre area is good..  thumbup.gif
*
I put roughly only biggrin.gif like agak2 which area requires train service. Kemuning is a critical one. Like no bus at all. That's the reason why more and more cars are OTR now.

Shah alam/Klang are huge. Good that there is this proposal on the Northern corridor of Shah Alam & Klang but they forgotten the SOuthen corridor of Shah Aam that is progressin at much faster rate compare to the Northern side i.e:

1) Sri Muda- Kemuning- Bkt Rimau
2) Kg Jawa/Jln Kebun
3) Bkt Tinggi-Botanic
4) Pandamaran- Teluk Gong

These areas reachaeble via Putra Height line
*
Kg Jawa-Bukit Tinggi is fast developing, Kg Jawa is having Alam Impian as shown in my LRT line pics. Speaking of that, I forgot to indicate the colours doh.gif ; Bukit Tinggi just started their Bukit Tinggi 3 if I'm not mistaken. I've passed by that place several times to see that it has put up zinc 'walls'. (Jln Klang-Banting, after AEON KESAS-flyover.)

QUOTE(stimix @ Apr 24 2013, 12:09 PM)
KTM - Supporting the Centre part of Shah ALam, Klang & P/Klang
LRT KJ Ex - Suporting the Northern side

and ideally - Putra Height Ext supporing the Southern side  smile.gif  (If there is such proposal
*
Southern part is very critical. I see Kemuning area have very very very very weak public transportation. Close to zero support laugh.gif only buses I see going through (nearest that I see) are the SBS (Seranas) stopping at Tmn Sri Muda.

That is why In my view we need 2 more extension lines Norhern part - The already huge townships of Bkt Jelutong - Subang - Setia ALam - Meru till Northport

and fast developing SOuhern part  smile.gif
*
All these public transportation (especially trains) should've been talked and developed during Abdullah's period, what to do, tidur lagi la. laugh.gif

Bkt Jelutong is a place that heavily needs train also. My friend live at that area mati ler, everyday jam jam jam sad.gif We should do like Singapore, circular tracks biggrin.gif

Hi patienceGNR nice maps of possible routes. Did you paint on a screencapture of google maps? That's hard to compare/zoom/change layers. I'm particularly interested in your southern alignment.

Perhaps you can edit your proposed routes on Google Places My Maps? You can use this "LRT3 LYN Alignments" map to import kml or use it as base, http://goo.gl/maps/W4uaI .

PS: Yes Bro Stimix, I've been here since 2008. Though I haven't been very active here. Also very much less active on MSM/MFM. More active on other GPS related activities. ;-}

I realised I drew the map train track in wrong mode biggrin.gif changed to same mode as yours.

I drew mine using screencap. How do I use the KML file? hmm.gif

sabre23t stimix kampung2005

I just remembered that this area, pointed in the map below, was said to be opened to connect Kg Subang and Setia Alam (very less likely, just like some areas, Taman A and Taman B, next to each other but can't connect). My company is said to have gotten the project to open that area but not sure when and is it approved by government to open because Bandar Nusa Rhu is a hill/mountain area whereas Setia Eco Park is about 50-100ft lower than that area. If it's said to be opened, I have another line that can probably cater the Setia Alam-Kg Subang area.

coz its off the route proposed.
it will have to go to the north from i-city to go to Setia Alam,
while the proposed route will be heading to the west.
*
Of course but why not an interchange? Maybe from Setia Alam to UiTM area as interchange.

Maybe good for interchange.
If its feasible why not.
We just have to wait for the final plan.
*
Yeap. We'll just have to wait, as Rakyat, we 'have to wait'. tongue.gif

But yeah, if any suggestions, do drop it here as we can discuss and I'm sure got Prasarana people here or someone who gives ideas to them (Hint : Kampung)
