Well, for Tambun  I sold half and keeping half.

The balance , half is considered zero cost and is for collecting Dividends.

Not following any international accounting , just my own  plan.
Indeed a good plan.

进可守,退可攻。

@bursalchemy

Waw. Impressive.

I can never do that kind balance sheet coz I hate Accounts laugh.gif

I assume all the numerics tend to be different every month. Why not do it on a spreadsheet? Save you tons of time.

By the way, (maybe I shall call you Mr Chong YT) Do not simply reveal sensitive information as you are exposing yourself to unknown danger. You wouldn't know you might become a target. Invest smart & stay alert. nod.gif

Oh ya, keep it up.

Good meh  hmm.gif

If one takes loan to invest, then one needs  to lower the loan outstanding over time, than to allow it to be stagnant.

If one continues to  use high  leverages throughout over a long period ( thinking of easy money )  , then hopefully markets are kind  enough to him.

I was impressed by the way Chong did the balance sheet, handwrittenly, only.

I consistently do it for 3 yrs ady. I dont know hw to do it on spreadsheet. Previously i tried to use my iphone apps to monitor my income n expenses. But i dont like it at last. I still prefer do it manually.

Let say i do it on spreadsheet, is there a way the excel will consol all my assets n liabilities on a balance sheet? So tht i could have clearer picture of my current finl position.

With some formulaes inserted, I am sure it can be done.

I only use to track my IRR and Profit/Loss. Analyse...I'm not that anal laugh.gif

I just do very basic analysis, analyse 5 year revenue growth, profit growth, profit margins, dividend payout ratio, dividend yield etc. Simple stuff only.

Cash flow, I just glance thru its Cash Flow Statements and cash position in the balance sheet, no thorough analysis on that.
Sifu Warren Buffett say invest in things u understand. I see supermarkets and kedai runcit, bukannya banyak orang beli Ah-Paul-Lo products...so profitable meh? hmm.gif

Honestly I am not a baked cake fans either.

The waffle cake targets children market. School canteens are the places you'll find'em.

In fact their export market are doing better than local market. Revenue, gross profit & gross profit margin are growing.

Healthy cash flow, good dividends are the reason I buy it. Cheaper than competitor Hupseng in terms of PE.

Attaching a telcommunication research paper written before GE13.

Also some impact of GST on telco if it is being implemented.

QUOTE
Once the 13GE is done and dusted with, we believe the 6% service tax will most likely be passed on to prepaid subscribers, provided BN secures a convincing win. This will lead to an increase in revenue for mobile operators. DiGi will benefit the most given its higher revenue base from prepaid subscribers, while Axiata will benefit the least.

 If GST is being implemented, this would means that the current 6% service tax will be abolished. Hence, mobile operators are more likely to take this opportunity to adjust their pricing structure by levying the GST to prepaid subscribers, rather than absorbing the tax.

So, can buy DG now? rolleyes.gif

Hence, I would sell 50%  , if any stock hits 100% gain mark.

Just my way, not asking others to follow.

Somehow big fund managers have better chances to exit when volumes hit super high.

When market is full of ikan bilis, later many  become ikan bakar.

Then GST and what not to take down the markets.......

That sounds like a plan!

No wonder funds keep buying before GE. sleep.gif

Erm...Excuse me for interrupting for a moment - but it is not as bullish as it seems to all you guys....
December 31st 2012 the KLSE Index closed at 1688.95.
May 20th (yesterday) it closed at 1777.15.
Anyone good at percentages??  whistling.gif
According to my Abacus that is only a 5.22% increase in about six months.
Underperforming - that's what it is.... hmm.gif
Where got bullish when you look at Dog Jones or FTSE over the same period?
doh.gif

True, I know your buy call on them last year, you definitely have the far-sighted. But that time no "东风" yet.

Again, back to holding power (one would buy & hold) & confidence on the company (you know it will come, one day) one has chosen. nod.gif

Just like now, Plantation has been sideline for quite sometime. If one is confidence it will be coming back, maybe we'll have Plantation cycle back in 2014?
