Lets said, one company share RM1, dividend is 5% = 5 cent (before tax)

if the company raise to RM10 per share, dividend is still 5% = RM0.50

Then i might getting 50% of interest based on how many unit i buy??

So you have to find out what is par value of the share.

For MBSB (Which I am heavily invested)  tongue.gif , example, it's par value is RM 1.00.
Based on Ex-date 14 which is tomorrow, it has 9% and 18% dividends, based on par value it's 27 cents less 25% income tax.

BJcorp Par value 1.00
Hubline Par value 0.20 (on boat, jump = die, no jump also die)
YTLP Par value 0.50

let's make my concept right~
IF

Huayang, i buy in RM2, dividend was given 15 sen= 7.5% dividend
IF nx time, Raise to RM20, dividend was given 100 sen = 50％ dividend?
IF nx time, Raise to RM20, dividend was given 150 sen = 75%?

sry that i cant get clear image on Dividend
