wooho...bricked my phone and one touch upgrade cant unbrick it. after downloading all stuff..when i proceed to plug in the phone, it says [COM0] 4050 error.....zzz

then it asked me to unplugged and plug again...(all with battery out) followed all the instructions and still fail.zzz
*
Connect ur phone without battery first. Windows detect or not?

If detect, check at device manager if the correct driver is installed. If not installed the driver first

If i'm not mistaken error 4050 is due to driver. Do try

Just looking for the phone Glory 2 and its reasonably price aswell. Do refer the link below-

http://www.lelong.com.my/alcatel-glory-2-3...4-04-Sale-P.htm

And a preview by lowyat itself-

http://www.lowyat.net/2013/02/05/4961/firs...sim-smartphone/

Since it a dual sim, its a better alternative if u compare to Sony Xperia E and Samsung Y Duos. Pricing as for now is RM349 nod.gif

Now can't turn on already. But still can be detected by windows as MTK port.

The blue charging light still got when plugged in.

Tried to flash with recovery.img and boot.IMG but error 8030 pop out

Ps: I actually think it the driver/port that makes the problem.
I can't seems to install driver as it is not digitally signed and even if I manage to install, it shows could not start(code 10)
*
Install this driver. Its the complete set for MTK device. This should be no problem in unbricking & rooting. Im using on windows 7 x64

Btw, uploading rom on broadband took ages rclxub.gif

One thing I notice is that u guys must have forgot to uncheck Preloader,Dsp BL & so on as suggested in the guide.

As thats the common cause for bricked. Anyway, upload the ROM already

i actually purposely check everything because i tried to check ONLY recovery.img but it does not work as well.
*
No wonder u got it bricked. If u still have driver error, try flashing from other pc with the driver i just posted

Successfully rooted the device. Not bad for a First-Time Android User.
I just follow the procedures step by step.
*
Cheers~

If we follow the guide properly and not rushing things, almost impossible to get bricked

Whoever is having a problem with inaccurate screen, try to install this app - http://d-h.st/vX4

Now i can type with minimal typo. It should improve the screen calibration on the sensitivity. Dont press the screen too hard btw. Its called capacitive for a reason tongue.gif
