Honestly, what did you guys do that make your phone bricked in the 1st place?

I just bricked my phone and I guess I wont be able to restore it back. Going to send it to alcatel service center and see what they can do. I had itchy hands and had to simple delete a few things that shouldnt be deleted.

Congrat. Your phone is rooted. now just need to install SuperSU and update, so it will automatically overide and uninstall the chinese version of superuser.

i wonder if i remove some of the system files, when i do a factory reset, they will still be gone. but if i use the one touch upgrade, they should be back rite?

Factory reset is just clearing the data, it would not restore the apps you remove.
One touch upgrade will get them back.

In my case, the one touch upgrade shows the phone as being in the same version as I have thus not allowing me to perform the upgrade.

hahaha..ok..but how to unroot,in case fon need to sent to alcatel centre?..(it is in case phone has prob)..

reflash with alcatel one touch upgrade. not sure if the superSU full unroot works or not

so weird this phone. when i first got, the 1st thing i do when i got back is reflash with the one touch upgrade tool. then root. but different ppl different experience

Hi there, I wanna ask why I still couldn't uninstall some of the apps tat I dont wan??? I already peformed sd partitioning though.

on almost everything minus the only issue is the one that the updater software keep rejecting the phone model.

Im oredi finish read this thread but sometimes get confuse. I think TS shall be add some info at first as how to remove unwanted app (of course must be rooted!). Im using S4 n a bit confuse with gingerbread. add some other info or problem solution, easy method to get root, unroot or any good info...
