Probably there's something wrong with your default launcher. just install a custom launcher using Android Commander.

Once the phone root, is it will unlocked for all sim card?

This is because my alcatel this model is still locked by DiGi, means that only putting DiGi sim card can work without key-in "SIM Me Lock"~ But still haven't been root yet~

Hi, I have a few questions here
I have just bought this phone yesterday and I noticed it has some problems

1. When I put it on an uneven surface, when the phone vibrates it will produce a zzz sound, like when your speaker or microphone spoil, idk how to say

2. When I knock the back of the phone to my hand, or other surfaces it will have some kinda vibration @@

3. The phone doesn't light up when it has notification?

have anyone face this problem?

my phone can connect to wifi and the icon show's up like normal.
but i cant open app like youtube, playstore or any other apps that need internet. playstore says that i have no connection and want to open data.

all other phone and pc works fine with the same wifi connection. only this phone is having problem.

No, root won't unlock your phone... U'll need to call Digi Helpline to request for the unlock code... That doesn't even guarantee your phone will be unlocked permanently. You can try refer previous posts on the tutorial for unlocking the phone...


1 & 2, this is due to the design of the phone speaker, nothing much we can do about it...

Does the it light up when charged? If not, mayb due to the bulb problem. If yes, mayb due to setting problem, although I can't seems to find where to control it. You can try factory setting if u wan, to see if the problem persist. Might best send to the service center if it is...

Hi all. I got a question. I bough this 4010x from DiGi. I called to and the operator said this phone is unlocked.
so i put in my umobile sim card. i can call n send a sms.
but the line bar there has a "R" alphabet. i believe is mean for roaming.
i tick the "data enabled" but i still don't see the data connected.
but when i tick the "data roaming" then the data is connected.

Anybody know how to solve this?

I think it only happened due to Umobile sim.
This might be due to the umobile borrowing maxis network at your place, thus the roaming thingy.
Just check the cost of your sms and calls,
if it is the same as normal, then you might have to learn to ignore the R.

This is only my guessing as it happened the same when i put umobile sim in my xperia tipo.
So if i'm wrong hopefully some can clarify.

guys, im a new user. managed to root mine i guess, since its usable now and im able to delete some of the bloatwares.but the thing that's bugging me is, i havent installed any app other than facebook and whatsapp. on idle available ram is around 30mb only, after sometime facebooking it goes down really low until 4-5mb left.what the heck? it lags just like before rooting.total ram stated amounts to only 160mb thereabout and internal storage is 150mb,with 54mb left at current state

FB apps really does ate quite a lot of RAM.
Use the browser to surf the net and also FB.

As for me, I never use it for anythg more than a 2nd phone for my other sim.
With its spec, a backup phone is all there is to it.

Haha of coz cant expect much from an rm100 phone.its 100 bucks now from digi.no more 50 bucks.but the internal storage and ram are absolutely tiny to do anything.how much cost wouls it be to squeez in a bit more mb actually?i always knew this whole memory business is full of gimmick one

Surprisingly they gave me 4011x set aka One touch glory 2s PRO set.

Running at 4.1 with 2GB internal.

On my own experience, this phone really can't handle FB and watsapp at the same time, even after extensive bloatware-uninstalling and tasks-cleaning, i can get almost 60-70mb free ram, but, still can't FB and watsapp at the same time. Wait for a custom kernel, where we can do a ram swap, then we see.

Sorry sorry. Corrected my misleading info. It is 2GB.

Nop, din do any top up. Just RM50 for everything. Comes with a flip case too, just that don't 2GB memory card. But I think its more than enough.

P/s: I'm from Kuching Sarawak anyways. A side note to fella Kch people, Satok branch do have this 2S pro version but limited stock.
