Hi. I'm actually planning to do it also when I'm older. Watched the surgery on YouTube and honestly speaking I kind of regretted doing so. Suggest you not to. I'm hella scared right now. Haha. Anyways still going to do.

A lil' bit sleepy to explain the entire procedure, but basically, for someone like me that dont even dare to use eye drop & contact lens - it was a terrifying procedures. But it wasnt that bad actually. It is advisable to do some practise/exercise to hold your blinks and focus before surgery.

All you need to do is to focus at a patch of dotted lights, relax and blink slowly. And when the doctor blast the laser, I can literally smell something burning and, not to worry, can't feel anything. Not even after the surgery is done. The effect is almost immediate, right after surgery. Vision is abit blur but you can see it! You can see the clock on the wall without your glasses already!

Eyes were so damn pedih right after surgery and kept tearing. But after 4 hours sleep, everything is going to be CLEAR ! Recovery takes up to 6months - 1 years time. Vision and sharpness fluctuate alot, but doctor assured that this is normal. I hope so..

For now, my eyes kinda dry sometime, rely on artificial tears drop once a while and love my new eyes though wink.gif

If you need more details, let me know~ wink.gif

Mind sharing where you did your lasik and how much? I intend to do it and was recommend Advance vision in Uptown by friend. It is quite cheap abt rm2888 for both eyes. The price is cheap and not so confident

hi - mine was almost 3k per eyes if not mistaken. kenot remember.

take note on the method of surgery method- use laser to open flap can save tissue wink.gif.
then warranty term, some its subject to conditional yearly check up, and some do not provide life time warranty. Vista warranty till 50s, no warranty for old age rabun.

I did mine in Vista, curve. smile.gif

My eye test procedure is so much simpler and hi-tech compared to the pioner lasik clinic in TTDI, couldn't remember the name of it.

Can't say too much because I know the doctor personally so people will say biased. Both my parents went there and had their lasik done there. No problem so far. The doctor practiced in Ireland before coming back to Malaysia.
