evo curve is a swept back bar if i am not wrong... there is a ritchey logic that has a very shallow drop... i think even hianboy's one is quite shallow... from feel la

else, have to hunt for fsa but GH is no longer distributing it...
yeah lar... custom order mar...
you need to dig that up again...

ritchey's usually long reach la

i think sen aik brings in FSA

QUOTE(Mac Wai @ May 30 2013, 01:23 PM)
2) my ultegra front derailleur cage chain rubs when I am on the following front / rear gearing 53-25;23 and 39-11;12T (hate the rubbing sound and wears out the chain if prolong used), as a result, I have been avoiding those specific gear ratio.

Is it possible to solve the issue with the SRAM Red Fd with yaw by swapping it out?
.... or do I have a better alternative?
*
you are not supposed to cross chain lar.. cross chain is not good for chain health...

it's a waste of money to solve such problem lar... it isn't a problem in the first place since you are not recommended to be doing that...

only the new Di2, Red and Force 22 actually tell you that you can cross chain... hence the term real 22 gears...

Same issue as well with my Tiagra, i just avoid doing the big-big, small-small combination. Hear that it's really bad

cross chain is no good... no good...how many times have to re-iterate... it is not recommended... like putting your manhood in your pet's love holes... it's doable.. but not recommended...just stick to tenga or find a wiling opposite sex partner... OK???

yes.. not even DA9000... the only dura ace that can cross chain is the Di2 because it has auto trim function where the FD moves as you shift the rear cogs...in fact, technically it is also the ultegra Di2...

thumb shifter is for the hood operators lar... if you don't reach for the drops... the thumb shifters or elephant ears as they are called on campy is a very easy to use thing.... it is just sometimes it gets in the way...

spread the vin_ann challenge too right??

i am serious too... if i don't come out with extreme analogies.. they dun understand ma... apples and oranges no longer work for them apparently..

i get chain rub only at 39x11, and a bit at 12. if i shift the fd halfway up, then no chain rub

Thanks, didn't know about that .... consider the problem solved.

Must remember never to cross chain, plain simple!

The cateye was bought much earlier and only just realized about the brushing against my thigh.... I think my thighs must have grew thicker, or my Ritchie carbon moves like a noodle. biggrin.gif

somebody told me campy's setting very sensitive. lari sikit je, shifting not smooth. maybe because they cramp in 11s into 10s cassette width. so tolerance for error is very slim. maybe?

... Choosing the wrong accessories... A noob's mistakes.
1) I deployed a cateye Rear light on my seat post, but the fastener knob (too thick) gets in my way of paddling and brushing against my thigh. Looking for an alternative rear light.
2) my ultegra front derailleur cage chain rubs when I am on the following front / rear gearing 53-25;23 and 39-11;12T (hate the rubbing sound and wears out the chain if prolong used), as a result, I have been avoiding those specific gear ratio.
