i've not tried using the stock video player, but i've tried playing .mkv files with mxplayer but doesn't show the subtitles(though that was like late last year, don't know if it's still the same now), and the only player that managed it is the beta version of vlc player. anyone has any other recommendations? only see mxplayer and poweramp under the useful applications section so i thought i might as well try asking here.

QUOTE(joytest @ Apr 29 2013, 08:08 PM) Vlc team writes their own codecs to be independent of the Windows DirectX layer so they probably ported it nicely to android. Mxplayer ran into some codec licensing issues for mkv or rmvb I can't recall. Looks like vlc is a good bet. Will add to apps section. QUOTE(girl83 @ Apr 29 2013, 08:19 PM) Alright, thanks for your opinions, will just stick to vlc then. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Apr 30 2013, 04:52 PM) The black ones are probably the Class 4 or Class 6. Some of the very early Class 10's were likely black too before they decided to rebrand for differentiation. i using 32gb class 4, should've got the class 10. However there are fakes, so get it from a reputable Low Yat Plaza shop like AllIT. Camera shops ALWAYS sell these things at a higher price. |
