why no new ROMs

i'm in a foul mood today and why S4 thread people so darned uptight. joytest shared a humorous take on a nationwide issue but that guy can't even comprehend humour.

anyways, where are the DMD2s? Wanam is late, dualnote no news, only hawkish and ARHD?

and what about stupid CM mods saying not developing and boycotting S4 due to its closed systems. and now they have it already due to its popularity.

On friday otw back to hometown, i install VLC beta player as i find it lagging by playing with MKV player. (mkv files.)

after installation and open the vlc software, my phone directly went into auto-reboot and from there on, juz stuck at SAMSUNG logo infinitely
try taking out battery, mc, but fail. lastly resort to recover back to my last backup made through cwm which is in dec'12

my Q, how can a software like this cause the problem? i have no way to enter into the phone except recovery.
searching for safe mode like pc to remove the program but fail.

Update: downloaded 900+ mbs of Hawkish but

reverting back to dualnote

i hardly selected anything but yet full of rubbish bloatware

just restored my nandroid to dualnote taking 261 seconds for boot + efs + modem + data + system

is it me or swype beta 1.4 has refused to be my default keyboard?

If you were in recovery you could have performed a cache wipe and try before restoring your backup. Could be a dalvik cache issue?

Where do you check in XDA? You could check my Master ROM list, as it shows ROMs updated within the last 5 days in cyan.

i just browse the whole Android Development pages until the last page i viewed. nothing indicating DMD2 for monx / dualnote

anote sucks for me. the fonts are so small and deleting notes needs me to open a note first. i can't delete the sample notes too .

Haha .... monx is readying 13-r01 with DMD2 and Xperia launcher IINM. Hopefully gets released this week. It's already in his changelog.

I made the master list off the [INDEX] list, but the master list is easier and faster to read IMHO.

If it's in the SME list, you should be getting it at max RRP of 1999. Some are selling about 1700.

If it's not in the SME list, it will be an AP set and will depend on where the set came from on your question about the charger.

Conmen are selling the S4 at higher pricing, how unethical. The last time those retailers told me that the Note 2 SME was 21xx, I don't mind because it was still lower than the RRP, now they are selling higher than the RRP. Goodness
