QUOTE(suntzulee @ Apr 25 2013, 05:16 PM) Looking at the trend...if note is 5 inch, note 2 5.5 then it will take say another 5 years to become note 8...haha I dispute that Note family should be segregated into 3 segments from what we've seen. 1 is "phablet" that shouldn't grow beyond 6.5". 1 is mid tablet that should be 7"-9", and then full tablet 10" + |

QUOTE(Vortrack @ Apr 25 2013, 05:18 PM) Hi, I have a question regarding the S-Pen. Is S-Pen waterproof? No it isn't. There's a resistor inside just below the button. Was thinking of using S-Pen to touch the Note 2 screen underwater as it was hard to touch with finger while underwater. And, errr, how are you using it underwater? Diving? |

QUOTE(Vortrack @ Apr 25 2013, 05:22 PM) Yeah I have an underwater case for Note 2. Can't touch the shutter button on screen while underwater. Case or generic waterproof pouch? Care to share a pic? And how deep have you gone with it?Again, I don't think you can use the S-pen in water as it has components inside. |

QUOTE(Vortrack @ Apr 25 2013, 05:26 PM) It's a pouch. I didn't go deep la, just snorkeling. It says 10m. Right. I have one of those as well. However, the screen may not be able to take 10m of water pressure. You can go till about 6-7m without scuba equipment, but your ears will suffer a bit. The screen.... http://shashinki.com/shop/dicapac-wpc2-wat...facturers_id=54 |

QUOTE(hooh888 @ Apr 25 2013, 05:34 PM) that happened to my s3, otherwise i wouldn't have got myself a note 2 in the first place lol. Errr...why was your phone so near a pail of water in the first place? I've heard of people dropping phones in the toilet ...but ...Edit: oops just noticed you highlighted the word 'again' lol. but then again, i am clumsy as hell so i won't be surprised if it happen. |

QUOTE(Baronic @ Apr 25 2013, 05:39 PM) @joyrest hmmm my battery life cant last full day due to constant screen on and surfing. My usage is extremely heavy. And my brightness is max cuz I like to see my theme and its vibrancy Salt water bro.... he's going to mess up the circuitry for sure. Vibrant screen eh? Some will say oversaturated fake looking AMOLED Regarding the s pen underwater, I dont think it will spoil underwater but while it is underwater Iforsee some issues. For one the screen may be very confused with the pen whether the button is pressed or not. When the button is pressed its merely completing the electromagnetic circuit within the pen. Water may or may not mess with this. End up your pen maybe cant use. But after that if its out of the water and dry it should be back to normal. |

QUOTE(hooh888 @ Apr 25 2013, 05:49 PM) hell no, i still prefer note for the size and the s pen, which is why i won't even bother thinking about the s4. and i'm done giving swimming lessons when i myself can't swim lololol. Aiseh, deserving of Hall of Fame posting !!!!well because i was at office early in the morning, cleaner come clean my table, pail put beside, i blur blur there, accidentally push the phone into the pail. never happen before when the pail wasn't there zzz. maybe i can go to 9gag make a post. "i don't always push my phone by accident, but when i do, it takes a beautiful dive into the pail". once born with bad luck, always have bad luck lol. QUOTE(mazaziman @ Apr 25 2013, 05:53 PM) new proud owner of note 2 reporting in. Welcome !!!! Add yourself in post 4 via the form. Get a Samsung 32Gb class 10, seemingly more reliable than Sandisk.QUOTE(Baronic @ Apr 25 2013, 06:01 PM) Rust is a different issue of course. But my spen has been completely submerged before and I have had no issue. The way it works is it interacts with the screen. There is no "circuitry" in the conventional sense there isnt electricity running thru it. Rust again is diferent. Nice screen will add to Homescreens.I like htcs also. Im not a brand fan. Am a android fan. I use bravia engine with dynamic and combine with res live wallpaper I feel my screen feels hd like haha. |

QUOTE(n8210 @ Apr 25 2013, 08:07 PM) But Samseng center don't handle Ap sets. This is from Korea, 32Gb, claims the seller. While, I am thinking abt COD but scare get mug while COD too. Read post 4 there is a link on how to identify fakes. The most obvious sign is the S-Pen. It should have a sharp, hard white plastic tip. All the fakes give the soft round black tipped stylus.BTW if you hold no grudge against Samsung, why call them Samseng? This post has been edited by joytest: Apr 25 2013, 08:10 PM |
