Taman U, been looking around. I need a place where theres L barbs, stainless steel, and all that, hope you can help recommend a hardware shop?

I live in Setia Indah. I can find mentioned barbs @ hardware shops in Tmn Daya.
By the way, these barbs also known as air barb. You go to hardware shops and tell them you want to get some air barb.

It's quite difficult to find L-barbs. It's kinda expensive too (as compared to normal brass barb). I could find some L-barbs as well, it's priced at RM30-60/piece (depending on size).

Shophouses @ No.4, there are few hardware shops there.
You can get air barbs there.

What is your barb size? 1/2? 3/8?
FYI, 3/8 is the common one. You can get this easily

You know JPJ? TMN Daya is nearby JPJ.

1/2 air barb is in the range of RM8-15/piece.

Please check with hardware shops nearby TMN U/Tun Aminah/Skudai before you come to TMN Daya.
I think air barb is a common product which you can find in every hardware shop.

its not that easy to find it in TMn. U area.

i tried looking for it in Tampoi Hardware shops too...

but cud not find any.....

Print the pic of air barb and show it to the shop.
You know, most of the shops have no idea they actually carry "air barb" until they see the pic.

This is what I did.

Go to their shop and ask "Ini ada?"

Yeap, you're right.

Some shops may not carry L-shaped barb but they can order it for you upon request. Show them the pics and tell them what you require.

I haven't seen any nirox pump in JB.
Remember those pet shops that carry Eheim pump that I told you? You can actually find other cheap brand in-line pumps from these shops.

Water running through air pressure setup, what you think, got cons?

Many are running it fine. So I think it's okay.

You need regular maintenence.
Air leaking does not harm your PC components. But water leaking does.

Personally, I would prefer generic brass barb with host clip. It doesn't look as good as air barb though.

May use some extra air barbs/joints on safe zones like res / rad. Hope to find regular brass barbs in many shapes and sizes

the max i got was 1.7/1.8 m for the in line pump in TUTA .

For high restriction waterblocks lor... (i.e. Storm G4/G5, AquaXtreme MP-05 SP LE) you need 'em heads...

Go to Tmn U jalan pertanian's shop lots. there is a hardware shop next to the furniture shop. Or goto the shop at jln kebangsaan (same road as Brothers, next to pak ali restaurant). They have the stock. Good hunting.

Generally most probably. The impact of Hmax on the cooling performance depends on how restrictive is the waterblock. High restriction waterblocks need pumps with good Hmax to be able to bring out its full potential whereas low restriction waterblocks are more max flow dependant although you still need some reasonable Hmax (which shud be normal in higher flow, lower hmax pumps).

By the design of its channels/fins/jets. An example of a waterblock with high restriction is the Storm G4 and the AquaXtreme MP-05.
Examples of low restriction waterblocks are like those who just have a simple single channel passing thru.
