hey guys, need some advice here. I download Tiberium wars demo version and try playing it on my laptop. It runs fine during skirmish, but around 5 min into the game, the game closes itself and gone back to windows. I like C&C a lot but not sure whether my laptop can support it or not.

I am using:
Intel T2300@1.66ghz,
2048 cache size, 1 gig memory,
windows home edition sp2,
my display card is intel 945/GU express chipset family with 128 mb,
direct version is 9.0c (just updated)

do you think i can play it smoothly?

Any kind of laptop is not supported.

just one curious question..... is there intro video for this game ????
i mean after green EA video b4 menu !!!!
coz after i install, i straight update to patch 1.03 and patch with play with no DVD.....
hope its not just me that face this ..... !!!

Aaah.. juz finished GDI.. veli good indeed, esp. it has 2 endings like C&C1 which its cool... :cool:

One good ending and the other one its Bad ending ..

Haven't tried online game yet... coz wanna finished the game first (duwan see so fast all the units/structures).

But, i might try, coz mabbe by the time i finished the whole game, no one wanna play with n00b like me liaoz... @XD

Yes dude, there is no intro video.. There was a intro video for the demo, but i believe that was the same trailer we`ve watched.. so why bother watch the same trailer again and again.. haha

EA server doesn't let me create game ("cannot host game" msg appears)

then i can't invite my friends into a game

worse is i can't exit, the moment i click exit the game stops there. can't ALT + TAB, can't CTRL +ALT + DEL

i had to force-powerdown my rig just to get back to desktop or anything else. WTH!!?!?!?

there suppose be a intro movie. i open the .big file and saw there is a intro movie in it. mayb they forgot to code it up

just lost connection to ea server while playing online just now

same here. about 1 hr ago.

while in the middle of a game, i encountered connection lost, luckily still able to reconnect back, but dunno why when after i lost, it straight away bring me to the main menu, where it suppose to back to the lobby screen.

ea says that its their server full stupid ea

worse still is my online ranking something wrong. i m stuck at lvl 7 for duno how many days already. advance to lvl 9 etc.. then when i log in back.. it shows lvl 7. sheeessh.. EA shouldnt release the game when they cant even fix their multiplayer.

last time i remember RA2 got another third party to maintain the server. why this time EA dont let them do that?

last week when i reached lvl 3. then DC. then check again it went back to lvl 2. happened before.

yea but today is worse.. i play like 20+ games.. yet my rank is still stuck at the same old level..sheesh.. they shouldnt hav release the game if they cant even have a proper multiplayer server

It happened to me during 1.02. I thought 1.03 fixed them?

no, that one fixed other stuff.

anyone still awake? guess not.... AAAAH, I slept early last night, 9 pm :S, too much sleeping at 12:30 midnight on weekdays. sigh.

Sonic emitters + juggernauts/mammoths of course (get a few firehawks if you can as well, to reach the their juggernauts.

Correction: Any integrated graphics card is not supported.
(I'm playing it on a laptop)

If I'm not mistaken, it is a known bug that you cannot invite people to your games.

Optimizations
� Made further improvements to video playback on low-end Windows
XP system configurations.

Bug Fixes
� Fixed an error that caused some players to crash or disconnect
while in online lobbies.
� Fixed an error that caused players with semicolon (';'),
colon (':'), comma (','), or equal sign ('=') characters in
their Online IDs to not be able to see and select options from
dropdown menus in online multiplayer lobbies. These characters
are no longer permissible in Online IDs.
� Fixed an error that caused players to desync when watching a
BattleCast match in which one of the participants disconnected.

Other Fixes
� All online multiplayer game lobbies will now appear properly
localized in different languages.

that was caused by the lousy connection. have to wait for the time out.
