good afternoon. hi im facing an unknown problem right now with my m14x r2.

The problem is:
when i turn on the laptop, it works fine till reach the desktop view (explorer) my security essential doesnt work, my network doesnt work, in fact when i try to manage the drivers from my computer it hangs but the explorer still running normally.

My attempt
I have to restart my laptop into safemode+networking and it works fine, the anti-virus, wifi etc.. then i did a system restore and it works normally again..

but when i shut down and reopen the same thing happens. is anyone here facing the same problem? how do i fix this? please

ive run total scan on my laptop for both partition.. for the malware does security essential able to do the task or do i need other software?

when we bought this laptop does they provided us with the cd? i mean to restore to factory setting.. i cant remember if got given a cd/dvd or not.. its been a long time
