You got the monitor offer also?

Not sure is it same with mine M14X R1 but you may try go to Bios (Press F2 when you power up your laptop) and change the "Charge behavior" to disable will stop the power input charge to your battery.

I only charge my laptop once a month if didn't really use battery mode  icon_rolleyes.gif

i sourced my lappie else where.. but service tag etc.. still under dell msia. smile.gif
hence no offer on any monitor sad.gif
thx for the info on how to preserve my battery biggrin.gif

heard some ''broken noise'' from my speaker, especially when im watching youtube, dont know how to describe it better, from my m14x's speaker.
will removing the battery cause this? cos ive recently removed the battery from my m14x. had anyone have issues with their m14x's speaker? should i contact dell for warranty?

you can claim warranty on that I guess and say them that you prefer carrying laptop around without the battery as it becomes more easier to carry around but then ur sound got problem. Maybe they change speakers for u and problem solved?

thx for the suggestion smile.gif
mmm... should i email the customer service or call them?

the warranty provided in XPS and alienware lines are premium. so i dont think they dare to just add the rubber ring only. smile.gif
or possibility that the rubber ring comes as set with the subwoofer.

Just one really2 last question for the sifus, should i pay around rm5.5k for:

M14x:
Intel® Core™ i7-3740QM,
2 GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce®GT 650M,
12GB 1600MHZ DDR3 SDRAM,
32GB mSATA SSD and 1TB 5400RPM Hard Drive,
Blu-ray BD-ROM / DVD +/-RW Combo Drive,
Killer™ Wireless-N 1202 a/g/n 2x2 MIMO for Gaming & Video and Bluetooth 4.0(MY),

or new AW14 for rm4999:
Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ,
2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 765M,
8GB 1600MHz Dual Channel DDR3L,
750GB 7200RPM SATA 3Gb/s + 64GB mSATA SSD Caching,
Slot-Loading 8x SuperMulti Drive (DVD±R/RW)
Killer™ NIC 1202 802.11n WiFi
