QUOTE(jsc_tidus @ Aug 11 2013, 07:08 PM) u cant upgrade the cpu & gpu on the 14, but u do can customize on the website while choosing ur spec. i havent found any comparison for the 750 with the 765 but if u can afford why not go for the 765? QUOTE(vk9545 @ Aug 11 2013, 08:15 PM) What Iqbal means is that you cannot change the configuration of the GPU of the AW14/M14 once it has been configured as it is soldered to the motherboard. Only the AW17/18/M17/18 can do so. |

Have a buyer for my GTX770 and the RAMs. Wonder if anyone is interested in the BluRay drive to upgrade their AW/m14/17? *looks around* as I will be removing my BluRay drive to make way for a 4th SSD. Yea. Gonna be running 4 drives on the AW17. (;

Order has been stuck like this for days now. With it's 'Work in progress' Status.
![]() But on the brighter side my Crucial Ballistix Sport 1.35V 1866MHz RAM's are here! ![]() ![]() QUOTE(horns @ Aug 1 2013, 09:34 PM) Thanks for the recommendation! This post has been edited by joshuachew: Aug 13 2013, 10:12 PM |

QUOTE(horns @ Aug 13 2013, 10:49 PM) i got it from newegg. i got it for my new laptop (not yet decided but it will be a haswell). Does anyone know if the 1866MHz will work on the AW17 on 32GB?but first i wanna try it on my asus g55 to see if my theory is correct. unlike aw, g55/75 is rather picky on rams (e.g. it only allows 2x4gb of 1866MHz to run; for rams with tighter timings like 4x8gb corsair vengeance 1600MHz 10-10-10-27, some laptops worked but many didn't :/; i was lucky to run g.skill 1600MHz 10-10-10-28 at 32gb) so i think MAYBE low voltage rams such as 1.35V might let me to use this ballistix sport with 9-9-9-24. |

QUOTE(Aura @ Aug 14 2013, 12:26 AM) Oh my, too awesome already. How much u bought those rams? Care to share thru PM? So you're saying that it will remain WIP and not update it?Don't worry about the status. It takes them longer to update. I've checked my order status online, same as urs but got an SMS from Dell stating that tomorrow (which is ironically today cos after 12am) will be coming. Can't wait Yea, sure drop me a PM. |

QUOTE(n3rd3y3 @ Jul 27 2013, 01:20 AM) My AW17 had landed. My wife is already asleep so can't turn on all lights. You bought an extra Vindicator Messenger bag? How long did it take for your AW17 to arrive?Picture of my AW Vindicator Messenger which had arrived early + AW17 box + AW Vindicator Backpack box. Low quality image due to low lights... I am going crazy waiting. |
