you're talking about price. if you are comparing price only, yeah there are a lot of season sellers that can offer much lower price (but that normally means it's an one-off deal, you will never see them again; and most of the times, they wanna let it go fast)
imo @putochip123 is one of few sellers that has good reputation here. to me, he's trustworthy (delivered according to what he promised, without useless excuses every time). i have dealt with him recently. i will deal with him again.

aw can be customized. it's not surprising if he sells a unit that has different specs than stock.

Any one has upgraded to newest nvdia driver?

I upgraded it and upon several hours of gaming i notice huge performance drop. Verify with temp and it seem okay only. It dropped and raise and drop back on off.

I installed Dell official driver just now and plan to test it again tonight.
Btw, I am using cudaHashcat which require a lot of raw gpu computing power and notice Dell driver perform 50% better than nvidia driver.....

Looks like only Dell official is optimize for AW, gona test it for gaming tonite and report back.

windows 8.1 directly starts to desktop right instead of metro UI?

12gb ram 1600
660m 2gb

it has a settings that you will need to change to boot to desktop , the option is available now but by default still loads to metro UI

so far games all running ok

oni the standard one that comes with m17x not killer wireless , the only online game i play rite now is diablo3 , yeah very sad still playing

Just now I replaced my CPU and GPU thermal compound. On Idle GPU temp drop from 60 to 52. I didn't try gaming yet. Oh and fan sound decreased too

I use killer wireless hmm.. and I read thr is a driver problem for windows 8.1 for this wifi card.

the first few times it will be less than 55. once stable it's like 57c.
i'm running w8.1 (however the wifi card is intel 7260; no issue so far). had to call ms for reactivation. (key exceeds activation limit).

another machine comes with killer 1103 and w8 pro. that oem key was blocked so i haven't upgraded it. there is a new driver for killer card at dell website. maybe it's already resolved?

now stable at 55 at idle sometimes even go 53. While playing HoN goes 60 max.

I think anything below 85 is considered good for GPU right?
