it's been a while since i modded something solid,

To cut the story short, after running wireless modem for 20min or so, the modem will hang and needed to be reset.
I got a bit pissed, so decided to mod a cooling blower to cool it down

I'm building this cooling rig using acrylic and 12V blower running on 5V.
The blower original voltage is at 12V, and when it runs at 5V it'll run quiet and amount of air is sufficient to say

how about if you remove the modem casing?
*

already removed the casing, still the same case. Signal will drop when the device is hot. The heat comes from both sides.
The cooling design of the unit is not good at all. If i could open it up without voiding the warranty i'll definitely will
