If you always disabled your data network..don't let your app or widgets do a schedule sync. Put it to manual sync and you do it manually when you enable your data or wifi.
Another one is Facebook. I heard it quite problematic though I don't know whether it's true or not.

One more thing..since you just flash new stock rom..let the rom settle down first. See if your battery life improve after a few cycle. biggrin.gif
*
hey there waveweaver smile.gif isnt 2 weeks enough for the rom to settle down ? and i charge my phone fully everyday. tongue.gif

problem is there is something waking up my device on idle with wifi off. i forgot to do a screen shot after my device has been idle for the night during my sleep ( closed all apps ). battery drained about 6% in 8 hours. i'll update with another screenshot tomorrow.

and btw, like what you said, i went through fb settings and disabled the refresh interval. hopefully it will make a difference. other apps and widgets i've already disabled the refresh interval once i installed it except for fb. unsure.gif

Yeah..two weeks should be more than enough to settledown the rom. Hope you can get better result later on.
For better understanding on how to read wakelocks using betterbatterystats..you can ask for nehalem176 or antt00 help.
*
alright. i'll update back soon if there is improvements. thanks smile.gif

don't compare people's lifestyle with yours.. maybe they're not hardcore user? maybe they are? whatever it is, some of them can last 1 day to charge? some of them 2 or 3 days to charge? so make ur statement clear
*
previously i was on custom rom and kernel. my device can last up to 2 days before i charge it on light browsing and gaming. not really used to see my battery gets used up that fast in a day. haha

*
im not sure as i dont set reset on boot. the version im using is the 2.90. but i've the 2.3.7 with me as previously read on xda, it says it can revert the system status to official after rooting, which does not work for me. still keeping it anyway. laugh.gif

here is the update for the issue i posted earlier. i charged my device to full and then left it idle till i woke up. in that 5 hours 30 minutes, it has been awake for 30 minutes. im not really sure why but you can see the screen on time is just only 83 seconds. is maps really causing the problem ? unsure.gif

In all probability the USB cable is faulty. If your unit is less than 6 months old you can claim for a replacement as accessories are with 6 months warranty only.
*
i was able to claim a replacement for my faulty usb cable 3 months back, which my device then was 9 months old already. the charge rate was so slow. took 8 good hours just to charge 50% doh.gif
and then was it faulty again a week ago. mad.gif

they still replace the cable even though it has passed 6 months warranty which is good.

i think the problem is with the wall socket.. even if u buy new usb cable, it will be damaged again later..  so i think u better buy a new charger..
*
really ? hmm.gif i'll try with this usb cable i bought and see will it get damage or not. smile.gif

QUOTE(PeeEl @ May 9 2013, 10:59 AM)
You were lucky they replaced for you even though it was past the warranty period. However, unlucky, you had the same problem.

Off topic : I believe SDS can happen anytime to any Mobo version. Old or new version have the same venerable chances.
It happened on ver 1.1 up to 1.4 ranging from old phone ti new phone. sweat.gif

What are the things that can fry a Mobo..?
All that comes in my mind...heat and current  hmm.gif
*
hmm. should i send my device to change the mobo then ? what reasons should i give to change the mobo ? my mobo ver is 1.1
over volting it can fry the mobo maybe ? biggrin.gif

overvolting? Man, you serious?

overclock and undervolting is common but overvolting is so damn rare

why did you do that in the first place?
*
waveweaver was just asking what could fry a mobo. i did not overvolt my phone dude. LOL
page 86 post 1711. sweat.gif

QUOTE(siegdelacroix @ May 9 2013, 11:45 PM)
why do u want to change ur mobo? how long your warranty left? just because yours is ver 1.1 doesn't mean it will get SDS for sure.. anyway for SDS problem go to SC and tell them ur phone always lag and hang etc2 and they will change the mobo.
*
1.1 has a chance for SDS right if im not mistaken ? hmm.gif
my warranty would be due in 3 weeks. thanks for the suggestion btw.

No bro..you cannot suka suka want to change Mobo...lolz

Actually ver 1.1 doesn't mean it will definitely gonna die. Like I said it happen even on ver 1.4.
I suspect it's the processor problem. Either the Exynos4 or the Mali itself. Try AVOID leaving your phone on overnight charging.

Just my two cents. hmm.gif
*
for the past year, i have left my phone for overnight charging countless of times. tongue.gif
anyway, there is still a possibility that it will die right ? and it would suck if it died after the warranty period. laugh.gif
