I just updated my s3 few days back. Currently is I9300 DXEMB1 (4.1.2).

Quite some time ago I didn't update myself in this forum page ans was quite some time since last firmwares update for my phone.

I wonder what are the updates or improvement for this latest update I just downloaded.

Thank you

My son was playing with my S3 and he put it in his mouth without me noticing it for few minutes..
Then the whole screen was wet and I wiped dry it and the screen failed..no respond at all although i touched it all the corner of the screen..

I have tried restart the phone few times also useless..

I wonder if is possible to go under warranty? otherwise if repair in phone shop how much it normally cost?

Maybe the battery went flat while your son gobble the phone hmm.gif
Anyway..let the phone dry first and take out the battery.
Tomorrow afternoon put back the battery and let it charge around 2 hours then only you try power up the phone.
If okay..then it's good for you. If still cannot then need to bring it to service centre for details checkup.

The back part of the phone is fine.. coz was protected with back cover.. but front, the screen is really all wet..

I tried letting it to for 2 to 3 hrs d.. tried just now.. failed also..no respond on the screen.

wil try my luck tomoro to see how..

His saliva could have seeped in. However, you can bring it to the SC and hope they don't find traces of water damage. Just tell them you don't know what happened.

Ya thats what Im planning to do and say if were to bring back to SC.. but was thinking if the repair cost is not too expensive I would opt to repair in the phone shop.. if SC refuse to claim for me, then their repair cost will cost much higher im sure..

But if you get it repaired 'outside', your warranty will be voided.

Try avoid putting the battery back. If inside the phone is wet..it might fried the ic if you power on the phone. More damage to repair.
Let it dry first. Tomorrow afternoon only try.
