Thanks.

i worry because too much bloatwares and who knows after update will make device lag thats what i dont like

or does it have something to do with "software update" in apps manager ?

SOFTWARE update and it is to do with your device. Apps are totally different, kapish?

Hehe..S4 with its powerful processor can run those bloated 4.2.2 nicely but not S3. Maybe S3 can have a Lite version on all those special S4 features.

I think Samsung engineer/technician already have tons of special features in their disposal. First they built a phone...put a certain processor then start putting those special features one by one..until they feel enough at certain point where the phone start stuttering.

Then they say..okay..we release this phone with these certain amount of features.. Now the phone is ready to be release into market...lolz

My 2 S3s are used by my son and daughter-in-law. So I am actually more concerned for the time being about my Note2 until I get the LTE S4.

You upgrading your Note2 to S4 LTE..?
Why not wait till Oct/Nov for Note3.? Note Series always trump over S Series. This S4 is sort of guinea pig in preparing Note3.

With big FullHD screen and big battery plus wacom digitizer..the pablet will be a heaven to have/use. drool.gif

Firstly, I won't call it upgrading. If anything, it is downgrading. If you had followed my posts, you will know that I find the Note2 a tad big though I can still live with it. And that's the reason, I am seriously contemplating on getting an S4. In all likelihood, I will keep the Note2 as well.

*Suddenly a wild Eiraku appears!*

Blardy. Is it just me or is every year old S3 dying left and right nowadays?

Mine bit the dust just last week lol. Not SDS though, prolly widespread eMMC corruption (runs up to 5secs only before restarting over and over).

Got sloppy and sent it in WITH A CUSTOM BOOT ANIMATION.

*derpfacepalm*

Credits to SME though for honouring the warranty of something so blatantly hacked. Came back in 3 days with a brand spanking new main board (new, un-insane eMMC chip and all).

So guys, DO remember properly hard brick your phones (or at least reflash stock rom) first before claiming warranty.

At least you won't have to do the whole *derp* "It already was like this when I bought it" routine when the lady at the service counter gives you the evil eye.

Oh, about the red mark bullshiat (for anyone interested), I just flashed CWM touch recovery (the one from the All In One S3 Unlocker pack from XDA) and used that to load up the "old bootloader" zip. Finished up with TriangleAway (ver. 2.37, which is somehow recommended over the latest 2.90) and all settled. Now happily running with a 0 counter and "official" status.

TWRP (or whatever the other recovery is) just fucuks up the bootloader zip. So steer clear.

BTW any of the old timers here planning to get the S4 and play along with idiot Samsung's decision to NOT give us both Octa-core AND LTE?

I'm hoping Note 3 will have both. But knowing Sammy, I won't keep my hopes up.

Who says the LTE variant is not coming to our neck of the woods? It is late in coming but it's slated to.
