Sad but true, I try it personally and it's indeed not as smooth as I thought it should be. Maybe the OS problem that cause the lag or maybe the test unit have some problem since so many people playing with it. But Benchmark result shows that it have double the speed of S3.
*
Benchmarks just show theoretical speed only, real world speed is different tongue.gif I'll probably wait until next year for a Note III or something brows.gif

Demo set always havd those lags and stutter.
Beside the S4 just receive it new updates from Samsung. To improve stability..i think. That phone need more updates to make it smoother. Quite the same with our S3 where it takes numerous of updates to make it as good as it is now.

Off topic : i just flash my LTE for S'pore latest 4.1.2 firmware. Now having the same splash boot logo as normal phone instead of those ugly France one...lolz
*
Is S3 LTE much much smoother than non LTE version due to 2GB ram? Thinking of maybe getting the LTE version sweat.gif

LOL..If your phone only one month old..no need to sell lar.
Use it for another 10months. There's nothing for you to worry about those SDS as your Mobo covered by warranty.

My suggestion is for those who only have one month warranty left and their phone still use old Mobo. brows.gif
*
No known SDS issue for SIII LTE version?

And also need to consider the quality if AP warranty, if your mobo died or something, the warranty is as good as nothing whistling.gif

2 years warranty bro...including its Mobo.
If died..sent back to SatuGadget for service. They will change it for free within 2 years warranty period.
Unfortunately. ..the phone LCD and accessories have 3 months warranty only  cry.gif
*
Oh really? AP company will really cover mobo warranty? brows.gif Cuz ya know, I've heard a lot of cases where the shops will give you 1001 excuses not to send your phone for warranty when problems like this happen...the serious ones I mean laugh.gif One good reason why I opted for SME warranty smile.gif

Not sure if it's safe to continously use my SIII as a GPS navigation tool + 3G in my car. Temperatures easily soar up to 54C+ in the hot afternoon weather sweat.gif

not until 50C+...
*
Funny? hmm.gif

Even sometimes mine on 3G alone can shoot up to 43C....add that with GPS (Waze) and maximum brightness AND under direct sunlight in a hot afternoon (mounted on car windscreen), I think 50C+ is easily reachable biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Dannyl @ May 9 2013, 08:28 AM)
Which app is good to monitor phone temperature?
*
It's more of battery temperature... I'm using CPU Master Free because it has both temperature widget and CPU overclocking tool smile.gif

If want smooth Android phone, for now, I only find HTC One, Sony Xperia Z/ZL, LG Nexus 4 and Samsung Note II is a great phone to pickup.

S III international edition is never smooth. S4 initial firmware is lagging, new version people said it is smooth, I had no idea as never check in new firmware but report new version is buggy, camera unstop restart the phone itself when using it. Actually until now I don't find any Samsung Galaxy series is a good phone. S1 is crazy slow even at that time. S2 G version is the most buggy not stable, unstop hangs phone. S3 international edition is lagging and often restart the own launcher from time to time. Now this S4 I never seen any good sign on it yet, at least not now.

HTC One is certainly very interesting but the warm feel of the aluminium unibody is a turn off.

Ya, that I agree, that the reason I not pick also. Using one need case for comfortability.
*
Using the phone with a case would make it less attractive, which defeats the purpose if anyone is getting solely for the design laugh.gif

Sharing this from the S4 thread:

http://www.groupme.my/deal/Easyshop/Univer...e-Heat-Reducer/

Some kind of a "thermal" sticker/pad that absorbs heat from the phone battery and is said to be able to reduce temperatures of up to 5C?

I'm pretty interested in this as the SIII heats up pretty quickly and I can't really tolerate anything above 40C lolz. Has anyone bought this before? Care to share your reviews smile.gif

Don't know. If you inspect the pictures carefully, you can see it's like kind of a thermal pad, looks like those plasters you apply to your body sore muscle laugh.gif

u use what app that makes temp shoot up? i want to test on my phone too
*
I mean battery temperature btw. Go download CPU Master free and use the widget that comes with it.

For me, browsing using 3G can easily shoot up to 40-43C. Using it as a car GPS under the hot weather (GPS+3G+max brightness), it easily shoots up to 53C+

how to protect the back cover when using bumper?i ord ask few shop but dun have sp to cover back cover but iphone have
*
I have a SGP Ultra Bumper, it comes with 2 SP, one for front and one for back smile.gif

Btw, you can just get those regular TPU cases lah, quite cheap, and encloses the entire phone except the front. Or get something like a Neo Hybrid smile.gif

shop say no sp for behind cover.b4 this using neo hybrid
*
Either the shop cheated you or you bought a fake SGP. You look at SGP official page, it clearly states Ultra Bumper comes with 2 SP, one for the front and one for the back.

Btw, bear in mind that I'm talking about the SGP Ultra bumper, Neo hybrid for sure won't have any SP for back cover smile.gif
