QUOTE(online_trader @ Apr 17 2013, 06:59 PM) I did some research about A4/328I, but there r some people complaining 328i tyre r not as good as sport sedan car, any expert know why? @.@ want to have some ideas Actually, most ppl think tires are everything...but its not...I drive a Merc with budget Goodyear tires, yet can still wack my lowered Vios with AD07 tires and sport suspension..Besides also can shares about will u choose A42.0 or 328i or maybe s60? Thanks So, there are many factors contributing to this....but, any car will easily improve the handling, braking etc with a set of better tires....what tires are the 328i using? Is it Runflats? |

QUOTE(online_trader @ Apr 18 2013, 12:37 PM) Most people complain about BMW tires not because of the performance but the comfort, which is due to the RFT. This RFT has to have stiffer sidewalls and hence the comfort is also compromised. Performance wise actually very good as the stiff sidewalls make the handling/steering response sharper. |

I used to have Bridgestone runflats on my E90. They were ok in the beginning but got much louder and wore out very quickly, by 22k km my rears were almost flat. Switched to Michelin non-RFT and am very happy but even then the PS2 can only last 40-45k km only.
The F30 without M-sport today isn't so bad, I was very impressed with the grip although the wider 255 M-Sport rims should be better though. |
