Hi Guys,
I want to buy a great headphone for listening hip hop and pop songs and see movie, but i'm hesitate whether take the Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Or Sony MDR-XB500?
I'm a bit leaning toward strong bass and while I do care about the mids and highs, thus i'm more emphasize on a high sound quality headphone.
So which should i choose for high movies and songs enjoyment?

Actually custom one pro is not in my consideration. I like ath-M50 because i saw there are many good review about this headphone about the clarity of it sound quality, and the mdr-xb500 have a nice punchy and deep bass.

Audio Technica M50 would be a better choice. Its bass is effective and impactful that it does not compromise other sounding factors.
Personally, i feel MDR's bass is a bit overkill for my taste. Both are still good contenders in this category. But most people would lean over to Audio Technica IMHO.

I would say that M50 is the best all rounder. Btw this is not the proper place to post the thread~u should post to the page audiophiles.
