guys, anyone know the retail price and avg price for this ?

LEGO Technic 9398: 4X4 Crawler

thinking of bringing in few sets smile.gif
*
If im not mistaken is RM799
By the way, you PO is good. Kinda tempting... tongue.gif
But too many sets coming in May,June & July... sweat.gif

QUOTE(Lego_Jason @ Apr 18 2013, 12:15 PM)

Working out pricing now but it's not cheap... The price I got before including shipping is already higher than Lego online. rclxub.gif  You have jalan in US so no way I can beat that! notworthy.gif

I think the advantage of this CS will be the speed of delivery. I think this lot should be the first in Malaysia, shipping only takes 6-11days and I will request my supplier to expedite shipment! wink.gif
Paiseh! I try to work it out today...

*
I think people are expecting the price similar with Town Hall due to size/weight. But, hopefully they wont limit the purchase. I still remember they limit the purchase of R2D2 when it 1st came out...

If you keep hiding your UCS collection from wife pretty soon you run out of desk space in your office! lol!

Don't want to keep everyone waiting in suspense for the price of 10240. I'm waiting confirmation on the shipping weight but here's my guesstimate:

10240 Red Five X-Wing Starfighter ~RM950-1000 this is including shipping + tax

I don't think there will be a limit on how many I can order, it's just a matter of whether supply is enough to cope with demand... Seeing that everyone is so low on ammo these days (including yours truly) I doubt many will join this bulk order.

Its RRP is $199.99 at Lego Shop Online USA and available from 4th May.

My supplier claims he is getting his on 2nd May. I'm targeting this bulk order to be the first lot of UCS X-Wing to reach Malaysia so some of us gets to have the bragging rights! brows.gif
*
Ohh...you already calculate the price. The post was too deep. laugh.gif
950-1000??
Wait...is this a CS or trades?
If CS, it supposedly "lower" than usual pricing once it reaches here.... sleep.gif

Wow  - 25 pages already? Just got back from 1U (yeah, I know, it's like my 2nd home) and as usual, stopped by the 2 usual spots where they normally have the most LEGO.

TRU - restocks aplenty. If anyone knows the layout for 1U TRU, one side of the shelf is now all mostly the licensed sets. Saw restocks for some Superhero sets like Spider-man, Arctic Batman and The Bat Vs Tumbler sets. Probably some Star Wars too but I wasn't really paying attention.

I walked over to the other side and it's mostly the City sets now, placed alongside some KREOs. But quite a large selection.

I thought nothing really interesting so proceed towards the exit when from the corner of my eye, I spotted these!

Was surprised to see them at TRU.

Some new stock at AEON too but the glass case was shared with Furby so they placed some LEGO on top of the shelf as well. Nothing much to report here.

Thanks for the news !!

Yeah, I also wanna know how to get so much RM 200 worth of vouchers! I guess it's based on high spending?
*
I have no idea actually. Usually for my kids birthday, they give RM100 each. Just don't forget to update your info when you have kids etc... tongue.gif

I think...by the look of it, Brickboys should be bringing these sets as well right?
I feel that its the same pattern when you found AA there...

I think Alby just redeemed his own Star Card points for RM200 worth of vouchers on his birthday. TRU can't be so generous, otherwise everyone will register their father, mother, brother, sister, uncle, auntie, FIL, MIL, and so on as Star Card Members.  drool.gif
*
I didn't redeem la.. wink.gif

i just read what the guy posted...

if i got excess i maybe go open stall at amcorp next to uncle lego scalper and sell for 1/3 the price. (probably still make money).
dont think its a "maybe"

they set a crappy ratio, but put in goldmember to boost the hype.

oldest trick in the book and i fell for it. lol. i am such a lousy consumer.
*
Do let us know if you open a stall there... thumbup.gif
I still can't find a "reasonable" sets there. If loose minifigs kinda ok...
