I've passed by uncle lego's stall at amcorp once before. I wonder how much Amcorp charges to setup a stall there. Can't be cheap so no wonder his prices are higher. I guess his target market must be different, those consumers who like to see and touch the products before buying.  brows.gif

I don't like Uncle very much. Takes me for a fool each time I visit his stall.

Last week he was selling the VW Campervan at RM600!!!! WTF!

Pumped petrol at Shell this morning & then casually ask the cashier still selling Lego Ferrari. She said only one model left & I bought 2. She then said " your kids must be happy playing with it". Deep inside, I was like " it is for me wor" tongue.gif

Parkson Subang Parade has only a few unwanted Lego sets.... but lots of other competing brands from China. I wonder if we will soon start seeing more of these sets in places like TRU, Brickboy, etc....

Counterfeit tends to be cheaper and more affordable for medium or low income buyer. Lego nowadays is more like target high income

Uncle Seat sells those classic Lego sets such as the classic town, space sets etc. I bought my M-tron Megacore Magnetizer, Pier Police, Victory Raceway from uncle. So ya, his target market is different from the rest of us.

Wow looks like lots of ppl here now considering setting up stall at Amcorp. Should join forces and setup a stall there and provide big-time community service to the poor unsuspecting public by selling Lego cheap cheap, take pre-orders and do more bulk orders to satisfy everyone's hunger for Lego.  Who's in?  thumbup.gif

I think you have a huge untapped market there. I remember this Lego Lot Less seller on FB one time set up a stall in Subang Parade flea market. Since he was the only one there the sales they had was very good. More competition is good IMHO.

Just tried myself too and no luck. Must be either Lego close down or server overloaded as too many people ordering Lone Ranger and UCS X-wing sets! unsure.gif

Almost every Lego piece (including minifigures) have the word LEGO printed on it. Bricks of other brands like Megablock and Kreo don't. Sometimes I need to use magnifying glass to see. Yah, I'm old! smile.gif

Funny story about this - when I was trying to swap my minifig from the Shell promo polybag with the staff at LLM, they sometimes will look inspect the minifig closely to identify the LEGO printing to confirm it's a genuine Lego minifig. Either I look like a shady character or they've been duped by some folks swapping fake minifigures. laugh.gif
