by the way, would like to ask about the post malaysia processing fee when items are held up in customs. if you have few deliveries / boxes held up, do you pay RM49.8 one time to clear all the bills, or multiple 49.8's for the few different delivery notes?
*
Well, simple way of understanding this is every custom clearance form = RM49.80.

Let's say you have 5 boxes and they all have their own individual waybills/tracking numbers then theoretically Pos Malaysia can issue up to 5 custom clearance forms meaning 5 x RM49.80.

But Pos Malaysia can also just clear all 5 boxes under one custom clearance form (they list all the waybill/tracking numbers in the same form) meaning that you will only need to pay RM49.80 once.

How this is decided is unknown to me, this is where I always think is a gamble, maybe it is how customs pass the documents to Pos Malaysia... I really don't know. What I know is by the time you receive the form from Pos Malaysia it is too late to ask them to declare it under one clearance form. That's why I think it is not under the control of Pos Malaysia, the customs officer suka-suka pull 3 boxes and pass to Pos Malaysia or he sekali push all 5 boxes to Pos Malaysia is what I think is happening. Pos Malaysia is just a facilitator in custom clearance, I think it is the customs officer who calls the shots over there.

Looks like Kastam Malaysia is very familiar with our Lego imports by now, so many foumers here importing! And from the looks of it quite a number of us have our parcels at customs right now. hahaha! Even when I speak to Pos Laju KLIA they immediately refer to it as Lego, last time they just say "permainan"... lol!

haha... no more "permainan" but Lego

so, perhaps it's better to get a big haul vs multiple small haul to save custom clearance

The only problem with that book is that it's a bit old, and some of the nicer newer figures aren't in there. Lots of older yellow-faced figures. The Ninjago book is pretty up to date as to the Serpentine sets (which is probably the most important for me as my son is crazy over the Serpentine).
