hi, could anyone tell me, do i need the Expansion pack to play WoW for now ?
or i can still just play WoW without the Expansion ? whats the difference ?

u can play wow without the expansion but u won't be able to access expansion content ie the new races, new instances, and of course the Outlands

thx, is it much better to get the expansion and play ? um,wait a minute. does the expansion include the full install of WoW,which means im trying to say might as well buy the Expansion rather than the WoW Starter Pack ? cause i ordered my WoW Starter pack, it would be a waste of money to buy without the Expansion

Usually expansions required the full install to play.

After all expansions are add-ons... you still required the original installation CDs.

One question...If i don install the expansion...do i still get to see other new blood elves and new items ?

you will need the original WoW to play the expansion

and if you don't have the expansion you will still be able to interact with blood elves. the new items will most probably drop from the new instances which means you won't have access to them (we are talking about BoP items of course) (can someone confirm this?)

Hmm new items probably wont need the expansion. I mean Blizzard adds new items all the time now rite so why cant they do it after the expansion.

I would say that instance bop drops, only those with the expansion can get it (because they can go there obviously). As for the boe drops, can be sold as usual.

may i know what is BOP and BOE ?

BoP - Bind on Pickup
BoE - Bind on Equipped

when an item is soulbound to u u cannot auction it or give it to someone else. so u can't twink characters with godly armor or weapons

The expansion pack will not be out until end of the year
