Errr, dumbed down puzzles? TLJ had one of the best puzzles for an adventure game... Very Myst like (Minus the constant backtracking) and not nonsensical (Like Lucasarts games), William's style you could call it...
And now?
I'm still gonna play it nonetheless... I just hope its not Syberia II bad.

QUOTE(fizyboy @ Apr 19 2006, 08:39 PM) i simply LOVE the first game. they did a good job mixing fantasy into April's reality world. the storyline was nothing less than fantastic. wee.. i really cant wait to play dreamfall! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I dunno, but I felt that the ending for TLJ felt incredibly cheap... Plus, the puzzles in the last few levels were incredibly easy and unsatisfying ("All I've got is this weird dish that's linked to both of you... Now, would that be useful in stopping the 2 halves from beating each other to a bloody pulp? hmmm")
Frankly speaking, I don't really care about the difficulty level of the puzzles. Lucasarts and Microids proved (Yes, Syberia 2 had harder puzzles but crappier story.. So, overall = t3h suck) that a great adventure game relies more on the story than that.

QUOTE(randomshinichi() @ Apr 20 2006, 10:15 PM) Okay what is going on? Is this the next Monkey Island or is this just some hyped up crap? Gotta know before I waste time on it... Next Monkey Island? That would be Bone I guess since this one isn't really focused on humour.
