Depending on your budget and you definitely want to play xbox 360 on HD. (HDTV 720p / 1080i)

24" Dell 2405FPW or wait for the Dell 2407WFP (6ms response time) - native HD resolution at 1920x1200

CRT and LCD pretty good for gaming. CRT is limited to 32" at the moment in the market. LCD goes all way to 65" and plasma all the way to 55".

I would balance my budget with the biggest screen for the bang of the buck.

Consider the DLP Rear Projection TV with HDTV as well. I hear prices are dropping below RM$4k for 42" or so.
