like i said in the earlier post, after reading all u guys awesome feedback
ive decided (of course this is with my budget of RM1k at the most) to get

a) a 19 inch widescreen LCD monitor
or
b) a 20++ inch CRT monitor

the question is which should i get?

and yeah..if i wanted to watch a movie i already have a nice dvd player with a big tv(not a hdtv la, thats why i dnt want to play my future xbox360 on it )
so im not sure if i need a "widescreen" feature

Doesn't plasma screens have this flaw called 'Burn In'?

For example; you leave the game paused for an extended period of time then when continuing it back again there are some parts of the game image that is burned onto the screen.

Another example would be the Astro logo or cable channel logos (i.e: HBO, CNN, ESPN) it remains on that certain upper right hand spot for some period of time and the image is 'burned' into the plasma screen.

If I were to opt for a screen for my gaming rig, I'm going for the LCD screens as it doesn't have 'burn in'.

are there many games out there having widescreen-only resolution? Becos planning to get dell 19inch ultra sharp which doesnt have widescreen support. Cant afford those 1k above de screen le..

how's the sound quality when connected to external speaker?
if pc we already noticed as the sound card works it.

Guys... I was at Best Denki Midvalley today before watching 300 at 4pm.. When i was there the 32R7 was selling at RM3999 with a RM150 voucher. After the movie, I went there again and it was selling at RM3799. So I went ahead and bought 1. 

A word of caution. There's a 32N7 demo unit there selling for RM 3999, a steal considering a new one cost RM 4799 at HSL. Was so tempted to get it until I noticed there's a deal pixel at the bottom.

^ I have the same TV..bought it last week. Didn't really like it. Can't get the black levels down enough without making the whole image appear too dark.
