QUOTE(Taman Linkin @ Mar 15 2007, 05:09 PM) If I go for monitor, can I use it to watch tv to? Since this Xbox is shared, not 'its mine, not yours' so I cant freely put it in my room to enjoy it myself erm, if the 360 is place in the living room, can consider buy sony or philips 29" CRT TV. they support 720p/1080i. image quality quite nice, although the TV takes up a lot of space. price ~ RM1.5k

sorry for being unclear earlier, i meant those conventional CRT tvs which support a higher resolution like Philips 29PT8845 or Sony KV-DZ29M61. ideally placed in the living room and the affordable price (~1.5K) means more money left for buying games i tested the 720p mode on a sony at ppl's house. yes the image is letterboxed but at 29", u get a pretty good sized picture. the image is nice & clear and the colors are nice. only problem is like most CRT TVs the image is overscan by 3% or so. (u cannot see the leftest & the righest side of the screen)
