right now the core problem is that the hardware and software (os) are made by 2 different companies. it will take time for them to sync flawlessly to produce a very good and near perfect phone.
back in the old days, nokia makes their own both hardware and software, so the final product is something solid and outstanding. how i wish nokia will come back again in the software department and make something exactly perfect for their upcoming lumias and other future models. i have no doubt if this happens, they will achieve tremendous global success.
Exactly. We just have to look at the OTA update fiasco. Nokia Malaysia seems to be hapless to the situation involving another party - Microsoft (Malaysia?). I am sure if Nokia has full control of hardware/software, things will move along faster and more efficiently. back in the old days, nokia makes their own both hardware and software, so the final product is something solid and outstanding. how i wish nokia will come back again in the software department and make something exactly perfect for their upcoming lumias and other future models. i have no doubt if this happens, they will achieve tremendous global success.
** This does not explain why other countries can pull off the OTA on time... Malaysia memang tak boleh
