one silly question, for those who suffer from random reboot and overheat issue of L920, are you all still encounter the same issue after 1308 update?

QUOTE(red streak @ May 29 2013, 06:37 PM) I think it'll drop again to around 13-1400 in about a month if you can wait that long. It depends on the price of the L925 but from initial reports it seems like the latter will be around RM1500++ so the L920 has to drop lower if they're gonna sell anything. Unless they want both of them to cost exactly the same. well tats the point, 925 with slimmer design is really a powerful addon to heavy duty lumia, but thn whats the point of having a lower capacity of 16Gb... totally out of mind...Edit: Though honestly I could see the L920 32GB sticking to its current price of RM1699 with the L925 16GB being around RM1500+ tho im still in love to 920 cos polycarb body + sight-catching color scheme... sigh confuse |

QUOTE(LightningZERO @ May 30 2013, 06:06 PM) You are comparing two different platforms here so it will be very difficult to answer you without us knowing what you have in mind/prefer etc. thx for answering bro! first of all im fully conscious about the diff in the platforms. im actually going to get either one of these within the next 2 weeks, the reason i asked the previous question was because some said HTC One's camera can actually compete with L920, is that true?I think both are very fine phone. I have a friend using HTC One and it is very nice. So the question is, which platform you prefer? Android and WP8 are very different. Of course WP8 has its limitations so it actually depends on what you want. If want games and apps etc, better go with HTC one. If want smooth and solid performance plus great camera, Lumia 920 is your choice the browsing experience of the 2 phones, which is better in terms of loading speed, FLV/Flash support. can L920 support all video and audio format ? such as MKV, FLAC, RMVB, RM, cause reformatting can be a pain in the ass... and one more thing, are the chatting apps for L920 causing any problem? to be specific, wechat, whatsapp, Line. LASTLY, where can i buy L920 by using the RM200 rebate without the nid of purchasing a data plan? Im living in N9 tho.. This post has been edited by sosot000: May 30 2013, 06:33 PM |

QUOTE(EXkurogane @ May 30 2013, 06:38 PM) Camera - Nokia is still far ahead. tho the price was really lower as compare too too models, but thn unable to play few formats were really annoying, any third party software can help?Video support - unfortunately, only AVI and MP4 for now; Audio is MP3 and M4A. Lumia's browser speed is fast, (as far as i can remember even faster than Galaxy S3, but against HTC One i have no idea) but no flash support. Whatsapp is available. Again, HTC One is RM 1999- 2299 like that while Lumia 920 is going for RM 15XX. The price difference should be enough to tell you the difference. |

QUOTE(EXkurogane @ Jun 4 2013, 02:19 AM) Only black is matte. But since the Lumia's polycarbonate is injected color, not painted on, scratches shouldnt be very obvious, but brighter colors like yellow and white - when they get stained or dirty they tend to be more noticeable (this applies to any white phone actually, and it gets worse if it is matte white). hmm... cos Im afraid that if I accidentally scratched it, it will be obvious and a pain in the eye, guess jus go matte black ALL THE WAY will be better... |

QUOTE(calintztan @ Jun 4 2013, 02:29 AM) actually, you can get black and just go for nokia cc-1043. untrained eyes(cough not nokia users) wont even know that it is a casing. scientifically proven with my friends. yup, tats the main reason i choose to go for matte colors, if only nokia produce all matte colors L920 BTW, holding matte black feels damn good in the hand. tho keeps the glossy too, cos some might LOVE the bling bling shinning L920~~ BUT...... reality is always a cruel *******.... |
