Sinceu r using Note 2 already, if u want a new phone i suggest wait for newer models that succeed the Lumia 920 coming late this year. There will be a Lumia 920 successor, a Lumia phablet (5inch+ screen with 1080p) and a 41Megapixel Lumia EOS - provided all the rumors are true. Spoilt for choice. If i have so much $$ i would buy the 41MP one.

It really depends on your need:-
Note 2: Higher capacity, larger screen , more apps / games, more customization
Lumia 920: Better camera with low-light + image stabilization, smaller screen, WP8 live tile

But I do not recommend to get a 2nd hand Lumia 920 as you can't make sure the hardware is in good condition

I mean't when someone sold his phone , it could be either switching to new phone or his previous phone is not in good condition. You never know if the seller dropped the phone before, right? I did not mean 2nd hand phone is not good in hardware thought.

Not to mention that some users reported poor battery life, so you have to careful on this 1. For me, I prefer to get a new 1 instead of used phone. Perhaps I think too much already... LOL

First of all, welcome to the club.

U have to adapt with the issues. Both issues is like came with the L920 package.

Few ways to reduce it but when u reduce it, u will feel the difference because u cant fully utilize the L920 potential.

As for me, i only turn off the background apps and turn off the auto brightness. This gave me good results in terms of battery usage and heat feelings. My battery can survive up to 12hours with calls, whatsapp, surfing. But please note that i dont all those thing continuously. Thats my way of preserving battery and reducing the heat.

Other than that, i just installed cc casing. Reduce the heat feeling when direct touch my skin.
