and whatsapp..sometimes no notification of new messages until u manually on the program

anybody having problem with facebook message having no notification? its kinda annoying..

i only receive notification if i put myself online on messaging
if i set offline on messaging i dont get notification at all

not only that.. now fb got any notification also dont pop up at all after i re-install it
hmm not to bash them or anything.. i can live without the large quantity of apps
but if the small quantity also no quality..its quite frustrating.
whatsapp also the same.. i wont get any notification on lock screen unless i exit the app before locking the phone
which is ....

im log in everywhere on fb.. pc.. iphone.. windows phone
sad thing is.. i see my pc blink.. iphone blink.. windows phone..... nothing lol

for the whatsapp
lets say im chatting with my friend.. if i lock the phone at chat screen.. then my phone wont have the pop up
new message notification n sound if there is any new messages(but if u switch on the phone u will see the whatsapp icon there, just no sound or notification)

whatsapp only pop up the notification with sound if i exit the chat screen n lock the phone

well most of this problem are software prob i guess.. but leaves me quite disappointed
feels like having a beta phone. Its windows 8 already (i could forgive if it was still windows 7 or 7.8), microsoft should really buck up their standard.

Guys.. i got a cc-1043 yellow and red colour casing for sell... red kinda beat up.. but yellow still looks very new (no stain) ..if anybody is interested pls pm me.. will let it go since i sold off my 920..

coming from iOS.. i used lumia 920 for a week before i sold it off
i had no regrets tho..i just had to try
the interface was great, everything seems good

but for me there was 2 big problem..
1st was the battery life..
my lumia 920 battery life was piss poor.. 2hrs whatsapp
from 100 - 10%..
then 2nd.. was the quality of the apps
theres bug here n there.. fb notification sometimes work sometimes dont
whatsapp notification only work if i exit the app completely
most of the time its unable to sync properly

ive refer to the forum here and seems like not everyone is facing the same problem tho
so could be the handset i got was just bad luck..

yesterday i went pass phone shop..ask them how much new lumia 920
RM 1520...

try diff channel..if dont work try with other ppl router (other than ur neighbour..)
still work with other router maybe ur router KO already..
