But even with the latest firmware i didnt notice any changes in battery life (i thought it's supposed to improve) but i was doing a lot of downloads on my phone today so that may be partly the reason why. Will monitor for a few more days. But overall the phone did felt noticeably faster.

did you try to update that storage check after the firmware upgrade to 1308?

that firmware is but after i already updated to 1308, there is another update for that storage check. i think i posted the qr code a few page back...

Nokia to invest in 'array' mobile cameras that use small lenses to capture big images
holy mader of cam.... if nokia came out first with this plus 41mp and brillant low light capability, it be the most complete cameraphone evah.....

Nokia patent for adjustable aperture could improve the camera on the next PureView device
wow.... next gen pureview can control the aperture setting? im gonna start saving again....

back when it were launched, turning on NFC really sucks the life out of the phone by a lot... not sure about now though.. i dont use NFC at all... cause all friend using android...

to check your os version, Setting>About>More Information.
under there you can see the firmware version. latest one is post portico firmware that has 1308 number.

erm maybe i didnt make it clear... my firmware is 1232.5957.1308.008... the number you wanna look at is the third number which indicate the firmware you are using.... Pre portico is 1242 while portico is 1249 and post portico is 1308...

anyone that using alternative fb apps other than the one by microsoft beware.... FB trying to remove the other alternative fb apps from marketplace... lol... well most of it except the Facebook JDB....
Facebook demands that numerous apps be removed from the Windows Phone Store on trademark claim

i would recommend Nokia CC-1043 original case or Imak Cowboy case.

personally i think this is a good hard shell case. the cutout for the button is great not like nillkin case. but one problem i have with this case is when i play game the back felt really hot. it trap heat from the phone like oven. this need to buy online though.


currently using this. the Perfect fit for the phone. PERIOD! also it dont have that heat problem like imak case. heard that for long time usage the coloured case colour will start to peel/fade? not sure though cause i use black one and i see no discolouration or peeling thingy. this now can be bought in most nokia store in malaysia.

there could be other branded case but till date i use nillkin , imak cowboy and nokia original case. there is other case available that i think some one posted about another brand with transparent case.

you can see some sample photo too but the one that caught my attention is that second fan picture.... it says it managed to capture the fan blade while it still spinning? no freaking way..... its too freaking clear.... i just cant believe it....
