no blur even in poor room light



at portrait orientation, this one susah abit, cos the font is really tiny, and i take this by holding the phone at slanted angle (induced goyang abit)




not a problem if with flash, careful, flash might damage if u pandai2 diy fix..

the trick is simple,
1. imagine the camera module is like a washing machine that has moving part inside, but outside not moving
2. washing machine will make noise and vibrate alot, if its feet not secure to the floor...
3. now back to 920 camera module, if u study the youtube videos about 920 dissassembly, u will find that, the camera module is only tied by a ribbon to the board, no physical fastener or glue that holds the module in place.
4. the only thing that keeps the module in place is the thin sponge at the back cover, that suppose to put pressure on the camera module so that it is secure in its designated place.. again, no glue or rubber.
5. so i'm guessing that, my phone has a problem with this because; i- OIS still working; ii- the focus is ok;,
so either the thin sponge that suppose to press down camera module in place has gone thinner, or my back cover actually has tiny swollen that makes the sponge does not in contact with the cam module..
6. the only possible solution is, to minimize the gap or make the camera stay firmly. so, i get myself a rubber O-ring, that has just the right size and thickness for the task.
7. the o-ring is slightly larger that camera window, (so it is not visible from outside), but smaller enough (smaller than cam module) it can fit nicely on top of cam module and keep pressure. it is also made of rubber, so it can provide cushion and does not damages the module, and because of that, it does not slip..
8. make sure the o-ring has just enough thickness for the job, if its too thick, it will put too much pressure, and possibly damage the cam module; and also will also affect the led flash.. (flash module is secured to cover, and only connected to the mobo circuit by contact points, if too thick, it will create a gap and not contact the flash to mobo circuit)
9. while too thin O-ring, will not help at all.
