what's the relationship between AMOLED screen and the upcoming doubletap feature  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
amoled is better suited for the double tap feature because amoled screens can individually turn off the unneeded pixels and turn on the pixels which shows the clock.. on lcd screen, the whole screen will be turned on, waste of battery power for the black pixels they turn on...

Bougt a twin pack from eBay, great covers certainly worth it, just the buttons become a little more difficult to press ...

I thought Lumia 925's cam is the same as 920, seems like it's not.

ISO 3200, even if using a DSLR i wont fire the ISO sky high blindly just to brighten up photos, that's a stupid method that introduces more noise into a photo, not to mention the 925's sensor isnt really big by all means...

That might have something to do with software; the 808 if on PureView mode, ISO800 should have no problem, if you you go full 34/38MP then sure plagued with noise, because the individual pixels are small.

@Thesun The ISO part is software, but the camera module is still different; it has 6-element lens compared to 920's 5-element lens.

Hey guys, silly question here;

Does changing the background from BLACK to WHITE will drain more battery? sweat.gif

The battery consumption should be the same. For LCD, the whole screen is used as compared to AMOLED which only light up other colors than black.

So, Amber update will include manual feature on 920 as per Proshot?
