Wah today i got notification that i can update to amber...still installing..

The price of 520 really cheap, i wanted to get it as secondary phone.

Mainly for whatsapp, wechat, facebook only.

Any problems with the phone?

Anyone facing an auto restart problem? Happen to me always.

And today I found out, when I hit (gently) the phone at the upper part of the phone, near the headphone jack, the phone will restart itself...hurmm

my wife has been using it for few months. great phone for her. those apps u mentioned should work fine. youtube also.

as added bonus, the cam and gps app is also good.

no problem so far, except the issue with the side buttons sometimes are pushed inside the cover & can't be use. but when properly installed it's no more an issue. i dont like the search (bing) button on the right. always push it by mistake (coz normally its the back button on the right)

Could u guys post a low light pic sample from your phone please ? I'm curious on how this phone's camera perform under low light, how acceptable the pic become

So far I only experienced minimal lag when browsing the internet.

The phone is quite smooth but not silky smooth as the iPhone.

Seriously, L520's camera does not perform well in low-light conditions.

Get at least L720 if you want a good camera.

But other than that, L520 specs are quite good for a cheap phone, such as good battery life (it charges fast too), design, tough display (although it is not Gorilla Glass) and 800 x 480 IPS display.

Anyway, below are some pictures taken with L520 in low-light conditions as you requested.

Just bought for my wife, so far everything is great, however did anyone can guide how to set 3G internet on this phone? Use maxis prepaid btw, and subscribe for 350mb data with previous phone and still got balance. Noob with windows phone normally use android phone. Dial *100#, there are no set up for this phone, but when activate gprs got message state the phone already set to 3G, explore setting for this phone at setting>>mobile network and set data connection to 'on', still cannot access internet. , did I have to subscribe new data service?

I am looking into using an Opera Mini Browser instead of the IE. Can someone tell me where to download it? Thx.

Have you set "Highest connection speed" to 3G in "mobile network" settings ?

Also try to look in Settings > access point.

AFAIK, there is no Opera Browser for WP8 yet, but there are some alternative browsers that you can try such as UC Browser and Maxthon.

I have a Lumia 520 which i updated to latest version of OS 8.0.10328.78 which i assume is amber update, however nothing changed, there is no FM Radio, color profile, and many more .
Any idea why?

download a handy app called Lumia System Updater

then check and update items like Extras + Info, etc

and fm radio should be found under Music + Video

Ugh, Lumia 520 still don't have rotation lock.

I read that it will only available in the next update.
