how to test network, system knowledge?

Do you know SDLC model? Describe it and in your opinion, can we use it in current time. Give another solution if you're saying it's not suitable.

hahaha...that's it. i've got this question in interview for system analyst position.

the blue screen i usually saw in windows 98
"Press any key to continue"
so, what else you expected to do?

BS or BSOD can also happen in Windows XP. Usually that'll be a major disaster.

i'm working as a system analyst and the usual questions they ask are:
-what prompts a BSOD?
-how to connect a network printer
-user gets a 'page cannot be found' in IE. what are the symptoms?
-what is VPN and how does it function?
-how to map a network drive and etc etc
if unsure, can try www.whatis.com and search the answers there. I did and it's a good website. good luck!

you know, some of these FAQs are disguised as interview questions, but really they're a free source of ideas to solve internal problems.
