Are you getting it on XBOX, Steam or PSN ?
I ended up going with PSN, but I feel controllers without paddles might be a bit tough for this game.
I spent a couple of minutes today trying out Armored Core 6.
It's a bit different from earlier armored core.
Earlier AC, as long as you follow these rules, you're good to go
- Effective AC build
- Keep moving
- Keep shooting
- Don't die.
But in this AC, you definitely need to memorize the boss scripted actions similar to Elden ring / Souls.
I also feel they kinda nerf ranged weapons in general while buffing melee blade attacks. The melee tracking is much better here, though with a longer startup time.

But might end up getting PC cause ultra-wide support
And Steam Deck seems to be well optmized
