Hi guys, anyone here have experience with overvolting and overclocking their MSI R7770 Power Edition GPU (Factory overclock to 1100 core and 1125 memory)? It is this one http://my.msi.com/product/vga/R7770-Power-...on-1GD5-OC.htmlI am new to graphics card overclocking. Currently managed to OC it to 1130 core clock and 1185 memory clock, without overvolting as I have no idea how much voltage to add. Stress test by FurMark. Also in msi afterburner (updated to the latest version), the maximum core voltage is set to the stock voltage at 1200mV. Is there any way I can change that? Cheers.

QUOTE(wongtheboy92 @ Apr 12 2013, 06:09 PM) Yeah I suppose...Remember to unlock the voltage settings. Thanks man. By using trixx I managed to overvolt the core volt and currently running a stable overclock of my gpu at 1230 MHz core clock and 5140 MHz for memory clock. Cheers.

I see. After restart your PC, does the overclock settings remain?

I am using the build-in Overclock from catalyst and I manage to overclock my HD7850 from 860MHz to 1050MHz WITHOUT TOUCHING the voltage. I gain an average of 7-10FPS. I doubt that you barely notice the performance from 1100MHz to 1130MHz. Try to push to its limit before increase the voltage, increasing voltage means you are taking risk of damaging your card.

But without overvolting I can't even exceed 1170 without instabilities even in need for speed most wanted. Currently I managed to overvolt from 1.2V to 1.3V using Trixx and managed to overclock to 1230MHz and its stable. Only problem is that I need to enter trixx manually each time I restart my pc in order to load the saved profile. Dunno whether is there any method for it to load the overclock automatically lol.

QUOTE(wongtheboy92 @ Apr 13 2013, 12:59 AM) i experienced the same thing..no idea >< I managed to overcome this by selecting the first three options in the settings page, ticked all "Load on Windows startup", "...and start minimized" and "...and restore clocks". Probably you can give this a try?
