for my personally advising..u can start wif ego series...try 1st wif lower budget...but honestly...dun expect taste of e liquid 100 % like common cigarette...but dun be dissapointed..at least 65 %...u will feel a totally different experience...life so good without harmful of smoking

25+ years heavy smoker(40 stick/day)Start vaping 3 months ago, start using 0nic liq 2 months ago. Not addicted to vape can stop whole day without any vape, but 25 years of bad habit is hard to kick lol. The best thing is my asthma totally gone after the 3rd day of vaping. Hope the gomen dont ban e-cig. Had tried to quit analog couple of times but unsuccesfull till this e-cig.
Below is my vape counter. Analog avoided and money saved. The dollar is as RM. saved Rm1,900.00 till date. Spend on e-cig is below 600.00. Im cheapo lol. My first is a vamo then a ds mod with couple of tanks.

brace yourself. it will be a hobby. it's just not worth it to get ego anymore considering the price. ego USED to be a beginner thing but that was history.

that was when you don't have much choices because there are very little options in the market and they cost 200-300.

nowadays, you have alot of choices. and prices too, are dropping. so i recommend you to get something else than ego.

For example; ego c twist with no led panel and functions cost Rm95 + charger cable Rm13 + wall adapter Rm10 = Rm118.

Vamo with led panel, checking ohm ability, battery level check ability, short circuit function cost Rm105 for full set body/batt/charger. (used to cost Rm230+ before)

or joyetech evic full set Rm130. (used to cost Rm300+ before)

why go ego when you get something better at cheaper price? and ego has definitely no resale value. buy those for rm118. i doubt u can resell for rm50.

all the used to be expensive and higher end mods has dropped price to this very affordable range. so they are better alternative to beginner set.

can try to download an app (vapemate) from appstore... （i dunno wheter android got tis app or not...tis app strongly recomended to vaper）wat u r mention is rite...once becum hobby...wallet becum skinny...haha...but no right or wrong...at least u earn ur health ma...but if possible...control urself dun over spend on vaping...(i tell myself also....)

ego twist allows you to adjusts voltage from 3.2ohm to 4.8ohm only right?

vamo allows you to do that too, up to 6v. you can check through the led panel to know if your battery needs charging already or is it still vapeable.

ohm check function is for when you rebuild your own coils and wicks. like you decided to buy a rebuildable tank, like AGA T / RSST. then you will have to build your own coils. the ohm function lets u know what ohm your atty is at. and it can check some errors in prebuilt coils too.

like my personal experience, bought vivi nova coil head 1.8ohm. loooong time ago when i started vaping. it feels very weak when i vape it on 3.8v because i always use 3.8v on 1.8ohm resistance. checked it on my friend's vv mod. found out it was actually whooping 3.2ohm.

and i myself too bought a ego twist laast time because vamo that time was Rm230 above. now i'm into rebuildable attys, i don't have any pv to check my ohm and have to get a multimeter instead.

short circuit protection is for when you get a rebuildable atty, after rebuilding the coils you might make a mistake somewhere and it might get short circuited thus might cause your battery to blow. vv mods will auto cut off and will not let you fire that atty. it also shows on the LED panel that your atty has short circuit.
