Totally agree. Too many people worry too much about the conductivity issue where it only does a little compared to recoiling skills.

Heads up for copper pin usage. Brass and copper tend to oxidize given time. Oxidation on these parts will cause your conductivity to be even shittier than a stainless steel coated brass. Put on vaseline if you want to slowdown oxidation.

Saw sellers in fb selling DS Mod v4. Is it ori or whaat?

china also got ori / clone. like is it made from the manufacturer of Drawtube Smart? Or by some other manufacturers with cheap quality product which is a rip off of the DS Mod original?

just like how anyone can just go to a metal factory and completely replicate the DS Mod in large quantity and resell it as ds mod v5.

I wouldn't call ds mod a clone though just like RSST is similar design to AC9, but it's a totally different product manufactured by smoktech.

If someone is selling RSST which is not from smoktech and they proclaim its by smoktech then i would call it a clone. because build quality is different.

AGA-T and AGI are good examples too. They both are official licensed product of Zhuhai Youde Technology which is based in China. Would you call it a clone just because it's manufactured in china?

Aga T2 with washer and spring setup. easy setup. no hotspots at bridge like how it does using nuts.

2nd pic is i filled the airhole for better juice wicking with a rubber piece i cut from iclear 30 coilhead to reduce the size of the hole.

This allows air to go in at the same time preventing juice leaks when laying down on table

yes steady 1.2ohm. yes the fill hole is initially made for setting up u wick. i used 1 of the hole to setup u wick to be the fill hole since i'm not using u wick setup. leaving fill hole open allows air to go in thus balancing the pressure in and outside the tank which improves the wicking of liquid on the ss mesh. if i put in back the screw on the fill hole, there would be no air intake to balance the pressure thus creating a high pressure outside and low pressure inside the tank causing the wick to get lower wicking capabilities.

what you mean the top silicon resistor going to wear off? the insulator on the positive pole? it comes like that. i've just used this tank brand new for 3 days now takkan wear off in 3 days of usage pulak.

these goes well with dripper long drags. others i tried at 9mg gave harsh hit at the throat if you take long drag with 0.5ohm

I really suggest you get RSST over AGA unless you are willing to spend hours to fix the hotspot problem.

Err. You can't exactly get cigarettes taste here in e-cigs. There are, tobacco based flavors but doesn't taste anywhere near cigarettes.

Could try fruity flavors which can be used as your daily vape cause imo tobacco based are too heavy tasting and you get sick of it after awhile.

Pandavapes - Captain America, pineapple mint with a twist. Pinacolada i would say.

Royal E-liquid - Root beer ice, root beer ice.
- B-Ice, lychee menthol

Daniyal Chong DIY blend - POP, pineapple orange peppermint.

Vapelab - It's famous but i not yet tried any properly.

Liqua - Many people start with this but after trying others, you start to realize liqua is shiitty and never will get it again. Not bad for a newbie though.

Above taste description is what i taste in the juice not exactly what is in it. note that different people different tastebud so what i think is nice might not be for you.

Or you can try any tobacco flavoured juice but bear in mind tobacco base can't vape for long at least for me. too overpowering and 'thick' on the throat.

Could be a short circuit. Recoil it. Make sure the extra length of coil that goes to the bottom doesnt touch any side of the inner post.

Make sure the coil doesn't come in contact too at the top with the metal parts.

And, what wicks are you using? cotton wicks? or silica?

vivi nova memang got this problem if you take too many drags. imo should be the wicking capabilities is not so good in the tank. which means the liquid haven't manage to get its way up to the coils, and you vape it. therefore the dry hit and burnt taste. try tilting the tank a little so that the liquid gets up to the coil faster and don't chain vape too soon.

anyway i suggest tukar tank iclear30 for beginner. better wicking, better vapor production, better flavor compared to vivi nova. some resellers selling it at Rm25.

or the kanger t3 / protank.

if they ban vaping also students will smoke traditional cigarettes if they really keen to smoke.

they should ban trading of e-cigs to minors below 18 but not those above 18 imo.

or maybe revamp the whole system. issue licenses to official traders and those without licenses are deemed to be illegal.

Haven't had any problems with daniyal's pop. protank needs some time to wick the juice in. if you're firing too rapidly the juice might not have enough time to wick into the coil hence the burnt taste. try firing at lower voltage?



there's an issue bout silica wicks that it's made of fiberglass material. and bits and pieces of fiberglass might get into your lungs during inhale and our lungs have no filters for fiberglass and it gets stucked there forever. causing some fatal disease in 10-15 years time.

but it is not proven that the silica wicks we use can damage our lungs. some speculation says that the silica wicks we use are safe to vape.

but again i would avoid silica wicks if i can. better safe than sorry although it's just a speculation.

Vamo full set Rm130 is good investment though i suggest. You can use it as a beginner set to understand how vaping mechanics works.

In the long run when you learnt, you can use it as ohm reader and also to check for short circuit and also checking your battery level.

If he jump into mech mod now, he wil struggle with the ohms he get from the atty and it's too much for a newbie.

Many newbies now i see jump straight into mech mod, failed a genesis or any RBA setup, getting bad vapes because of low setup skills and knowledge, give up after few weeks.

I find pinoy liquid work better on dripper. Made for dripping. I put cloud of ikarus on dripper also taste damn good.

But on genesis the taste far worse from the dripper.
