The website best viewed with IE. Yeah it's simple. The site meant for traditional retailer with web site. Meaning the site act as a catalog where customer can see, but they'll have to go to the actual store to buy them.

I think no matter what type of client I'd be, I'd reject your design and ask you to start from scratch with references that I liked. However, if I were a client who has NEVA surfed the web but just want a website up as a front for my business online, I'd be a dumb-ass and pay you RM500 for this website even. In others words, it'll be up to your own conscience of whether you just want the money or you care about the customer's website.

On the other hand, if you weren't willing to do another design for me.. I might only pay you RM50-RM100 for something like this...OR..I might just tell you, I'll find another person to do it.

you might be able to fetch RM500 if anyone really wanted to purchase the design from you. however, if it's a professional body that could afford a template for a blog then maybe you could fetch a higher price. but there are few uncertainties you might need to resolve before thinking of selling which is to display all the possible formating in the entries.

meaning you'll need to show what a quote looks like, unordered lists, ordered lists, defined lists and etc. this is so that people will get a better idea what they'd get if they did purchase the whole thing. a sandbox or prototype might be good. smile.gif

Yup, this can cost up to RM500, the templates is nice, overall the originality is there.

Base code: RM50
No flash: -RM10
Goddamn awful tiling: -RM5
Buttons: -RM5
Total I'd pay: No thanks, I'd rather use Adobe GoLive.
It's not the simplicity of the site that matters most, to sell something you have to make it look both professional AND convincing.

The website reminds me of when I was building my own back in the 1990s. whistling.gif

Basically, the trend is totally off. The design is left back in the olden days. Your text on the buttons aren't contrasting enough. Some of the text links in your content like "click HERE for demo." needs to be distinguished more. Enabling the underline will help this.

I dun think I'll pay anything for this design.

I will reject this design and make one myself better. It's more like making personal webpage for beginner. Even my own personal web pages are not as simple as this. Sorry for being too harsh.

yo dude to be frank with you. If you going to show this to your client please bare in mind remember wear few layer of bullet prove jacket. I am definately won't accept this work. Your site no theme, no mode, lack of information. Do some research and developement before you start a project it alway helps. If you are asking money for the web site I think it is really hard to convience a client to pay you.

I've always been weirdly obsessed with this Australian company called MaxDesign: http://www.maxdesign.com.au/sites/ probably because that exactly how I want to achieve later. Well.. almost.

It kinda suffers from poor visibility. Too hard to read. Light words on dark background generally isn't recommended, but I guess it's ok for personal websites/and if you are trying to create some sort of atmosphere. Personally, I don't like your colour scheme.

I can't see anything else wrong with your website. It loads up nicely in Mozilla and with Javascript turned off. notworthy.gif

I understand all these negative comments would disappoint you,
but don't give up... all of us were like this before...
when we were not pro yet...

Work hard, do more research and reference,
try to figure out what makes a website attracting,
and try to achieve it...

Web design is all about graphics... series of graphics...
and perhaps, about style, about concept,
about its information, about its goals, about atmosphere...

try refer to those stylish websites,
they're all graphic based, and all with their very-own style...
they're series of graphics, creating their targeted atmostphere,
and sending the information they wish their guesses to know...

for this, it should be a corperative web design,
its information should all related to its products,
like catalogue, synopses, ratings, reviews, screenshots, trailers etc,
and not only a list with prices and genres...
the interface design should be similiar to the look of the shop too,
white-colour based, with some yellowish decorations, high-classed...

so what's in the website you designed?
lack of information, black-colour based,
sharp colourful blinking decorations,
unmatched button interface,
repetitive unsuitable background in the navigation table,
an unnecessory handphone picture in the contact page,
and I can see that the shop exterior and interior are not the same...

though it's just a practice (I guess),
it makes it so obvious that your web design skill is still at a begining stage...
if you can make RM100 with this for a half-day job,
we all can be millionaire...

wish you good luck anyway, hope to see your nicer work next time...
make use of tables & css, they're useful......

ps~
for your reference, I include these websites for you...

http://www.thefwa.com
a website with a list of nice websites...

http://www.neostream.com
a korean old website, super cool...

http://www.sofake.com
the studio which handle eminem's official website...

http://www.toa.edu.my/showcase/artwork/mul...darc/index.html
a student artwork from The One Academy...
