The most impress me about this car is there is no steering vibration even a little bit during idle, make me thought whether she turn on the engine or not...

Well, i don know how is your LED strip, 1. is it single +/- for multiple LED or 2. separate +/- for each LED? how many LED in total? For pic 1 (555 timer + counter 4017 IC] This one is counter circuit, 555 is timer and output clock to trigger 4017 switching. each output goes high in turn. So is not suitable if ur LED strip is (1). Output voltage will follow more or less same as Vcc input, means if u provide 6V, output is around 5-6V max only, so this voltage enough to power ur LED or not? i dun think so. For pic 2 (fading circuit) Again this one is 555 timer + switching transistor which C1 (100uF) act as a main 'fading effect' component to this circuit. C1 provide current is exponential rate so that the transistor ON-OFF exponentially, and LED will looks like has 'fading effect'. Voltage supply is not a crucial part for this circuit, as we have a lot of DC-DC converter AKA voltage regulator (3 pins like trans too) convert from higher voltage to let say 5V (safe operating voltage for IC and LED). But the most crucial thing is u must know the current consumption and power consumption of ur LED, forward voltage drop of LED, connection o LED (series or parallel) which in turn affect ur component selection. I dare to say 4017 alone will not be able to provide such high power for ur LED strip and will burn if certain current exceeded, same as transistor as well. So don simply plug and play if u dun have electronic background, and sorry to say that, to guide you by words alone is simply too difficult for me. |

Today went for oil change + 3 bond throttle cleaning + ECU reset.
The result is, please see the vacuum and throttle during aircon off @ idle. Before After I'm not sure whether they did 'reset' my ECU or not, but some how my idle throttle % is changed. I saw the 'reader' they used, inside got option to turn ON/OFF some ECU parameter, such as transmission type (Auto/manual), aircon (ON/OFF) and idle RPM tuning. 1st time when they 'reset' my ECU, my idle stay @ 1.8k and din drop, after that the boss come and accidentally turn my aircon to OFF, then my car switch on aircon without compressor kickin. So i 'believe' they really can 'tune' my ECU parameter. What i saw they do is step by step, they instruct TB learning, after that initializing, i'm not sure whether is the step of reset or not. QUOTE(lhwj @ Apr 13 2013, 10:36 PM) Hmm I see. Wished we could change the ECU settings, but might accidentally damage the engine No, RPM still the same. i bet they let TB to relearn the position after air flow sensor is cleaned. Before do that, my throttle position reading after turn off key is around 3-4% something, now drop to 0%. Anyway what they said is after throttle cleaned, ECU need to reset since the air flow meter is now detect more air is flow in, hence more fuel will be injected. So if throttle at idle has been reduced from 7.5% to 2.7% did you notice any change in idle RPM? Another thing that i saw today, after they clean my throttle, before ECU reset and air box plug back, my idle RPM is 2.2k. This post has been edited by coolkwc: Apr 13 2013, 10:42 PM |

QUOTE(billy520 @ Apr 15 2013, 10:34 AM) The smell is seep in through aircon intake vent @ windscreen there. Even u choose circulate inside also same, the only solution is to seal the intake vent. but you won't be able to use outside intake anymore. Anyway i did that and after that i already forgot what is the smell feel unless i wind down the window. |
